Last night several pharmacists attended a lecture on asthma management, presented by respiratory specialist Dr Ajit Nair.
Please look at this slide - asthma deaths in Australia have actually INCREASED in recent years.
We all need to take asthma management seriously, so if you have questions about your inhaler device or feel that your asthma is not optimally controlled, don't hesitate to come in to talk to us or make an appointment with your doctor.
We want to change these statistics, and asthma deaths are largely PREVENTABLE with the right treatment.
