All of those who I work with are being supported to transition to ensure supports are maintained.

We're thrilled to welcome our special guest speaker, the incredible Fiona Bridger, a passionate disability advocate.
Plus, we'll be supporting the amazing charity Got Your Back Sista. Got Your Back Sista provides an end-to-end domestic violence service from crisis to healing. They educate, counsel, guide and empower women and children who have experienced domestic violence to move forward, to live safely and free from abuse.
We will be taking donations of Christmas gifts for children (8 years+) on the night.

📅 September 5th is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day in Australia.

This day is dedicated to raising awareness about spinal cord injuries and highlighting the incredible resilience and strength of those living with SCI. It's a time to promote inclusion, support research, and spread knowledge about the challenges and triumphs within the SCI community.

Join us this week as we recognise and celebrating the courage and determination of individuals with spinal cord injuries. 🌟

What a perfect little princess ❤️

🧩 A Little Piece of Me Exhibition 🧩

Maeve's portrait is hanging proudly on the walls of John Hunter Children’s Hospital as part of the 'A Little Piece of Me' exhibition, which features 9 patients supported by the hospital's paediatric palliative care team.

As part of the project, families gather photos of people, places and things that have helped shape their child’s life, with the small images then used to create a singular large image arranged by artist Andrew Christie.

The portraits celebrate the importance of understanding the many facets of identities in developing children and adolescents, while also highlighting how patients and their loved ones create an atmosphere of resilience, adaptability, and creativity during often trialling times of uncertainty.
