She is busy learning the art of GP bookings (they can be a delightfully difficult bunch 🤣), so thanks in advance for your patience while she gets up to speed and we bombard her with photo shoots.

🩺need medical assistance visit the Urgent Care clinic Lismore, this walk in service is open daily from 7:30am - 7:30pm, located Rous Rd, Goonellabah

🚑for Emergencies call 000 or present to a local emergency department.

We will reopen Tuesday 7th April at 8am.

A confirmed case of Measles attended Lismore Emergency Department. Saturday, 21 February 2026, approximately 5:45pm – 11:20pm

Measles symptoms include: Fever, sore red eyes, runny nose and a cough, a red, blotchy rash appearing 3–4 days after symptoms begin.
Measls is highly contagious!
🕒 Symptoms can appear up to 18 days after exposure.

If you develop symptoms:
👉 Call ahead before visiting your GP or ED to avoid potential spread.
Some people may need urgent advice, including:
• Pregnant people
• Those with weakened immune systems
• Call your local public health unit: 1300 066 055.

🫟Vaccination remains the best protection.
Anyone born after 1965 should have had two doses of measles vaccine.
MMR vaccines are free in NSW for eligible people and available at GPs and pharmacies (5+ years).
