Today, I had a client…

She reminded me so much of what I see every day, dry, winter-worn skin, dealing with the hormonal shifts of peri-menopause or menopause, struggling with dehydration and pigmentation… and feeling over it. Honestly, I get it. I feel it too, like you're constantly battling your skin and not seeing real results.

Feeling dry right now due to our cold temps?
🧴 Moisturize Straight After Showering

Why it works: In winter, the cold air outside and indoor heating can strip your skin of moisture. The best time to lock in hydration is right after your shower, when your skin is still slightly damp.

What to do:

1. Pat your skin dry gently, don’t rub.

2. Apply a thick moisturizer (preferably with ceramides, shea butter, or hyaluronic acid) within 2–3 minutes of stepping out.

3. Bonus: Use a humidifier in your bedroom or living area to keep the air from drying your skin further.
