On our journey to summit Mt Kosciusko, we came across Seaman’s Hut, an emergency shelter built from tragedy and stocked with non-perishable goodies. Right besides it stands Australia’s highest “dunny”

🏔️ As we trekked along The Alpine Way, we were greeted by well-laid paths of stone and metal boardwalks, carefully designed to protect the fragile heathlands and vibrant wildflowers. Along the way, there were signs guiding us through this magnificent Snowy Mountain terrain.

It’s common to find yourself walking alone for hours, surrounded by breathtaking nature, under our big blue sky. I was humbled. Each step reminded me of the bridge builders, those who contribute to our lives, often choosing love and resilience despite challenges. Their strength inspired those who follow to make the future brighter.

The crown chakra can be elusive for so many of us. Looking back over chakra readings from the past five years, one thing becomes clear. When energy is mapped onto paper, we stop guessing and start truly understanding what the soul needs.

In this reading, the crown chakra was pulled far to the left, showing a disconnection from belief in something bigger. The throat chakra sat low, the heart chakra was suppressed, and the body was overloaded with external energy. When we don’t clear our minds, homes, and bodies, we carry everyone else’s energy, and our own alignment suffers.

I’ve been working with the crown chakra over the last couple of weeks, and I don’t feel there’s one specific oil or thing you can do for it. It’s far bigger than we can imagine. One essence I love working with is myrrh, a sacred resin burned on charcoal. It’s often how I begin my day before seeing people or offering readings, and it grounds me deeply into my heart space, reminding me that it’s ritual that connects us to what truly matters.

Rituals anchor us in everyday life while also reminding us that we are connected to mystery, something greater than ourselves. Our Story

Woodfloria is located in the small rural town of Woodford about one hour north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We operate from a 100 year old church that was originally built by the community for the community. Our hope is that we can continue to serve the community in a positive and connected way by improving the health and well-being of our clients.

In addition to our practice, Woodfloria has recently included a collection of beautiful handmade skincare products which feel heavenly on your skin, delightful in your home and are specifically designed to tap into the body’s emotional and physical realms to assist the body to heal and transform itself. These products are made with love and intention on our premises in Woodford and include pure essential oils, Spirit of Woman Australian Wild Flower Essences, healing mantras and are infused with crystal energy.

There is always something happening at Woodfloria. We run a number of courses throughout the year including Astrology, Meditation & Healthy Living workshops as well as our regular Yoga classes at the Open Space Venue and our newly formed Red Tent meetings where women come together in the spirit of friendship to share wisdom, knowledge and intuition.
