There is nothing quite like the healing power of animals! This week, Sadie and her support worker, Talia, headed out for some community access support at the local animal welfare center.

Sadie spent her time sharing plenty of cuddles with the animals, and the connection was instant. The highlight of the day was definitely this moment where a very affectionate cat decided to give Sadie a proper hug! 😻

These community outings are such an important part of building social confidence and emotional well-being. Whether it is learning to navigate new environments or simply enjoying a quiet moment of connection, days like this make a world of difference.

It was a beautiful day full of smiles and whiskers. Great to see you out and about, Sadie! 💛✨

It was an absolute pleasure meeting with Ashleigh and the team today. Truly humbling to see the incredible work they are doing for the community and the genuine heart behind everything they offer.

We’re really grateful for the opportunity to explore collaboration and the space they’ve opened up for our participants to learn, build skills, and grow in a supported community environment.

We’re looking forward to seeing where this partnership leads and the positive impact it will have for everyone involved.

It really does take a village, and it’s clear this one is built on connection, care, and community 🤍

It was a busy and exciting time for Carmel at Bunnings over the Easter weekend!! 🐣

Supported by her worker, Margie, Carmel was straight into her paid employment duties, managing both the Glitter Tattoo and Snow Cone stations. While she is a familiar face there every Saturday and Sunday, this past weekend was particularly special with the holiday crowds and festive spirit. 🍧🎨

Watching Carmel manage her responsibilities with such confidence is a fantastic example of independence in the workplace and her dedication to her role is wonderful to see. We are so proud of her accomplishments and the work she does in her local community - great job, Carmel! 🌟👏

From creativity to opportunity 🌸

Tai has been creating handcrafted pipe cleaner flowers — and what started as a creative outlet is quickly turning into something much bigger.

We’re now exploring how this can become a real business opportunity.

At ISA, this is what employment support is about.

Not just looking for jobs —
but building pathways around a person’s strengths, interests, and potential.

With Tai, we’re supporting her to:
• Develop her product and refine her creations
• Build a brand around her work
• Create business cards, flyers, and a website
• Establish a social media presence
• Explore how she can turn this into her own income stream

Because for some people, the goal isn’t just employment —
it’s ownership, independence, and doing what they love.

Tai has the creativity, the drive, and the attention to detail.
Our role is to back that — and help turn it into something sustainable.

This is what real outcomes look like.
Not just support… but building a future.

We recently attended the NDIS Home & Living Supports, Education & Networking Event hosted by Plan Partners — and it was an incredibly valuable session for one key reason…

👉 Understanding the landscape as it continues to evolve.

With ongoing changes across the NDIS, particularly in Home & Living, it’s critical that we stay across what’s happening — not just at a surface level, but in a way that allows us to genuinely guide participants, families, and Support Coordinators toward the right outcomes.

The discussions around SIL, STA, STR, ILO, and SDA provided real insight into how this space is shifting — and what good, structured support should actually look like moving forward.

A big thank you to LE BON Care and Delivered Live Ability for sharing practical, on-the-ground perspectives that added real depth to the session.

At Inclusive Solutions Australia , we take this seriously.

We don’t just deliver supports —
👉 we invest time into understanding the system, the changes, and the gaps…
so we can continue to provide clear, structured pathways that actually work.

This is a complex space — and it’s only getting more complex.

Which is exactly why events like this matter.

Great to connect, collaborate, and continue strengthening how we support participants across their Home & Living journeys.

And yes… the tea and muffins were a bonus ☕️

We had the privilege of attending the Park Ridge State High School Transition to Work Forum this week — and what an incredible event.

A huge thank you to Kathy Brown for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful. Kathy has been a long-standing supporter of ISA and our mission, and we truly value the relationship we’ve built over many years working alongside schools to support young people in their transition beyond education.

At ISA, this space isn’t new to us — it’s where we’ve built our foundation.

For over a decade, our leadership team has been actively working across South-East Queensland schools, supporting young people to navigate what comes next — whether that’s employment, independence, or community participation. Our Transition to Community and Work Pathways Program have been at the forefront of this, helping young people move into real, sustainable outcomes post-school.

But what made this event different was our approach.

We didn’t attend to “sell ISA.”
We showed up to listen, to understand, and to contribute.

We took the time to really unpack what schools, families, and stakeholders are experiencing right now — the gaps, the challenges, and the opportunities — and to provide information that was practical, relevant, and grounded in real-world experience.

Because this space matters.
And getting it right for young people matters even more.

A special shoutout to our Participant Pathways Manager, Amanda Wood — who continues to lead from the front in this space — and to our team who attended as guest speakers and representatives of ISA.

We’re proud of the role we continue to play in supporting young people across the region — and even more excited about what’s ahead.

This is more than a service area for us — it’s a commitment.

On Friday, our CEO Priscilla Dadson attended the Consortium Collective at Coomera Waters — bringing together organisations and leaders committed to strengthening the NDIS sector through collaboration, shared responsibility, and real outcomes.

What stood out most wasn’t just the conversation — it was the alignment.

Across the room, there was a clear focus on working together to:
• Strengthen connections across services and communities
• Build trusted peer support networks
• Share knowledge, education, and mentorship
• Drive better, more consistent outcomes for participants

At Inclusive Solutions Australia, we strongly believe that no single provider holds all the answers — but together, we can raise the standard of support across the sector.

There was a genuine sense of purpose in the room… and a shared understanding that meaningful change happens when we move forward collectively.

We’re proud to be part of this space and look forward to what comes next.

This isn’t for everyone — and that’s intentional 😉

At Inclusive Solutions Australia (ISA), we’re not building a team to simply “cover shifts.”

We’re building a team of people who understand — or are ready to learn — how to develop people, not just support them.

What we do at ISA goes beyond surface-level support.

It’s about helping participants:
• Build real independence
• Develop confidence in everyday life
• Engage meaningfully in their community
• Move toward employment and long-term outcomes

💥 This is structured, outcome-driven work.

Our model is designed around:
• Daily living skill development
• Community connection with purpose
• Employment pathways
• Routine, accountability, and progression

💥 And importantly — we train our team to do this properly.

At ISA, you will learn how to:

• Apply the NDIS Practice Standards in real environments
• Work within risk and incident management frameworks
• Deliver structured, outcome-focused supports
• Build independence — not dependency
• Support participants toward employment outcomes
• Develop professional documentation and case note practices
• Step into leadership when ready

This is what separates a support worker from a support professional.

We are currently seeking:

• Support Workers
• Emerging Leaders
• Future Team Leaders
• Individuals looking to build a long-term career in the NDIS sector

Community Connections

Support is more than just hours —
it’s about connection, confidence, and actually enjoying life.

At ISA, we focus on creating real opportunities for people to:
✨ meet others
✨ build confidence
✨ try new things
✨ and feel part of something

We host community events and meet-ups across South East QLD, giving participants the chance to connect with a wider community — not just one support worker.

And when it comes to 1:1 support…
we don’t just ask “what do you want to do?”

👉 We bring ideas, energy, and creativity
👉 We help people discover new experiences
👉 We make community access feel natural, social, and enjoyable

Whether it’s finding your people, building confidence, or just getting out and living more — this is what we do best.

And hey… don’t just take our word for it 👀

A moments worth celebrating 💙

For privacy reasons, this participant’s identity has been protected — but her journey is one we are incredibly proud to share.

Recently, she celebrated her birthday on the Gold Coast, surrounded by a group of genuinely positive, like-minded peers — friendships that reflect just how far she has come.

And that moment… that’s what this is all about.

Because it hasn’t always looked like this.

When she first came to ISA and commence participation in our Integrated Living Model, we were supporting through significant trauma, ongoing crisis, and environments that were not conducive to her growth or stability.

It required:
✔ Consistency
✔ Structure
✔ Clear boundaries
✔ A safe and supportive environment

Now, almost a year on, the transformation has been incredible:

✨ Strong, healthy friendships
✨ Positive peer influences
✨ Active and consistent engagement in supports
✨ Increased independence in daily living
✨ Budgeting and life skill development
✨ Clear employment goals and future direction

For her birthday celebration, our team ensured the right balance between support and independence — with support workers present to assist where required, while also allowing her the space to enjoy her friendships and milestone.

This included:
✔ Ongoing support continuity
✔ Proactive risk management
✔ High-level safety planning
✔ Crisis management readiness (if required)
✔ Promoting independence in a safe and supported way

This is what real, outcome-focused support looks like.

Not just being present — but knowing when to step in and when to step back.

At ISA, through our Integrated Living Model, Transition to Community Program, and Work Pathways, we focus on building long-term stability, independence, and real-world capability.

To this incredible young woman — you know who you are…
From where you started to where you are now, we couldn’t be prouder. Happy 19th birthday.!!!

This is one of the most powerful transitions we’ve seen — and it’s only the beginning 🚀
