You may have noticed you haven’t seen Dr Faheem around the practice recently. That’s because he has been busy welcoming his 3rd daughter! He will be returning on 3rd March and is looking forward to seeing all his regular patients as well as welcoming any new ones.

Our lovely nurse Sue retires today and we wish her all the best with all her exciting retirement plans! Happily she has agreed to transition to our casual pool when she’s not busy travelling so it’s just bye for now! Thank you Sue!

Great session at GP25 today on perimenopause and menopause - so many potential symptoms ranging from unusual tiredness and insomnia to mood changes and backache or joint pain. It’s more than hot flushes and night sweats!

Hormonal treatments are the most effective but are indicated for symptomatic women and not for sole purpose of prevention of cardiovascular disease or dementia.

We are so pleased to have Dr Deepa Vineet back at our practice where she completed her general practice training.

She has a strong background in paediatric health and completed paediatric training in the UK.

She has also completed a Certificate in Family Planning and Sexual Health as well as a Professional Certificate in General Dermatology.

Patient centred care is important to her and her aim is to empower patients to set achievable goals to improve their health through a holistic evidence-based framework.

Dr Vineet is consulting on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
