If you've just had breast augmentation, the first few weeks can feel nothing like the result you were expecting. Here's what's actually happening in your body and why patience is everything.

The Timeline Nobody Talks About Enough 👇
Week 1–2
Expect swelling, tightness and implants sitting high on the chest. The pectoral muscle is in spasm, skin is adjusting, and everything feels firm. This is completely normal.
Week 3–6
Swelling begins to settle. You'll start to notice early softening — but the implants are still riding high. Resist the urge to compare your result to your final goal at this stage.
The Drop & Fluff ✨
This is the moment most patients wait for; and it's worth the wait.
As the muscle relaxes and the implant pocket stretches and matures, the implants gradually drop into their natural position on the chest wall and fluff — filling out the lower pole for that full, rounded shape.
Your 3-month result is not your final result. Your 6-month result is getting closer. And at 12 months , that's your outcome.

→ Stay hydrated, eat well, and prioritise sleep — healing is an active process
When to be concerned
While discomfort, asymmetry and swelling are expected early on, please contact us promptly if you experience sudden increased pain, warmth, redness, or significant asymmetry that develops after initially improving — these warrant early review.

Arm lift or liposuction — how do you know which one you actually need? 🤔

Liposuction contours and removes localised fat deposits but it can't tighten skin that's lost its elasticity. An arm lift (brachioplasty) removes the excess skin and tissue itself but does leave a scar along the inner arm.

6 months post-op. 360° liposuction that is abdomen, flanks and back.
Results like this are a team effort. This patient was incredibly compliant with their recovery — compression, lymphatics, the whole process. It shows. I thank her for trusting me with her care.
Worth noting: this is standard tumescent liposuction only, no Renuvion. Yet you can already see some nice abdominal definition coming through. Great patient selection, good technique, and commitment to recovery go a long way.
For patients with skin laxity, we still advocate strongly for Renuvion as an adjunct but not everyone needs it. Every case is assessed individually.
