💜Bullying No Way: National week of action 💚

This National Week of Action (11–15 Aug), we’re embracing the 2025 theme: Be bold. Be kind. Speak up.

Small acts can spark big change — check in, speak up, include others. Feeling safe, seen, and supported should be the norm.
✨ Kindness is how change starts.

What is WIP? 💜
is a non-for-profit organization which strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. WIP day is a day to shine a light on LGBTQIA+ young people and raise awareness and finds to support those who need it most. Wearing purple is a way for you to show solidarity for LGBTQIA+ youth and let them know that you are a safe person (you don’t have to know all of the lingo, it’s simply about showing kindness, listening without judgement, and trying to understand).

To celebrate… headspace Woolloongabba is hosting a WIP day party 🎉
✨ LGBTQIA+SB youth and youth allies welcome (12-25)

headspace Woolloongabba will be closed tomorrow for the ANZAC Day public holiday.

On this Anzac Day, we would like to pay tribute to the brave people who have served and continue to serve our country. We would also like to acknowledge the importance of supporting their mental health.

There is no shame in experiencing mental ill-health or tough times – the bravest thing you can do is to seek support.
💚
Veterans, current serving members and their families can reach out to Open Arms for 24-hour crisis and counselling support on 1800 011 046.
Our centre will reopen from 9 am on Monday the 28th of April.
If you need support during the public holiday, visit eheadspace.org.au. Here you can access online resources as well as one-on-one support 7 days a week from 9 am to 1 am.
