Something exciting is landing soon…

We’ve been working on a little makeover behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share it with you. It’s bright, it’s fun, and it’s very Mars Clinic.

Oh, and did we mention we have a new crew member joining the mission? 👀

Stay tuned… big things are coming.

For over five decades, Peter Dornan has been a pioneer in physiotherapy, combining clinical expertise with a passion for improving the lives of others. Peter’s work has left a lasting mark in the fields of men’s pelvic health, sports medicine, prostate cancer rehabilitation, and pudendal neuralgia. His advocacy for men living with pelvic pain and prostate cancer has seen him collaborate with national organisations including the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Pelvic Pain QLD. His influence has extended into public health, education, and authoring resources that have helped break stigma and improve treatment outcomes.

Peter was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his services to men’s health and physiotherapy. Following the recent acquisition of Peter Dornan Physiotherapy, we are incredibly proud to have Peter and his team join the Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy family. Peter continues to support our clinicians as a mentor and guide, and we are honoured to carry forward his legacy with care and respect.

Peter’s story, recently featured in QWeekend (July 2024), reflects a life lived in service, both to his profession and to the people he has so thoughtfully supported.

Living with persistent pain can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. Our physiotherapists use evidence-based approaches to address chronic pain conditions, helping to reduce discomfort, restore function, and support long-term resilience. Together, we’ll find a way forward.

A Brisbane physiotherapy legacy continues and a new chapter for Active begins!

We’re thrilled to announce that Peter Dornan Physiotherapy has officially joined the Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy family.

This marks a new chapter for a practice that has long been recognised for excellence in men’s health, pelvic pain, prostate cancer rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Peter has contributed enormously to the physiotherapy profession over the past 60 years, and it’s a privilege for us to carry his legacy forward with care, respect and commitment to clinical excellence.

The team will continue seeing patients at their long-standing Toowong clinic at 13 Morley Street, now supported by an expanded group of highly experienced physiotherapists from Active Rehab. Bringing additional resources and expertise, we’ll continue to provide exceptional care to patients, including a dedicated pelvic health service encompassing men’s health, and advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy services.

Bookings remain the same, and so does the exceptional care you know and trust.

Same team. Same expert care.
