Mars Clinic - Continence Clinic for Children and Adolescents

Mars Clinic - Continence Clinic for Children and Adolescents We understand the sometimes embarrassing nature of continence issues. No problem is too small. Do you notice that your child is struggling with toileting?

With 3% of Australian school-aged children suffering from daytime bladder control and 10% suffering from bedwetting, the Mars Clinic was established to meet the significant community need for the treatment of children with bladder and bowel conditions. MARS CLINIC
Your Partner in Children’s Continence

Are you dealing with a child or adolescent with bladder or bowel problems and don’t know whether

to seek help? Our specifically trained Physiotherapists use the latest technology and scientific research to provide a specific diagnosis and treatment plan. Is your school-age child:
•still wetting during the day
•still wetting the bed at night
•needing to go to the toilet many times a day
•soiling their underwear
•developing recurrent urinary tract infections? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we may be able to help. Most children, but not all, gain bladder and bowel control by 4 to 5 years of age. It is important that all children over 5 years, with daytime wetting or soiling issues, are seen by a Health Professional experienced with children’s continence. The Purpose of the Mars Clinic
Why do we do what we do? With 3% of Australian school-aged children suffering from daytime bladder control and 10% suffering from bedwetting, the Mars Clinic was established to meet the significant community need for specialist treatment of children with bladder and bowel conditions. At the Mars Clinic, we have made a serious commitment to excellence in the physiotherapy management of bladder and bowel conditions for children and adolescents. The Mars Clinic is run by Physiotherapists experienced with children’s bladder and bowel conditions, in consultation with Doctors and Paediatric Specialists. Our purpose is to provide a specific diagnosis and treatment plan and to identify the need for further referrals or testing. The First of its Kind
The Mars Clinic is the first children’s continence clinic in Australia to utilise an extensive range of non-invasive, cutting-edge technology — this makes it a novel and exciting way to assess and treat common bladder and bowel problems. This is what sets us apart. Assessment and Treatment
