When Ryan first attend our clinic, he was unable to write. OT Cindy worked with him and his family to devise a strategy and improve his functional capacity to write. Now, only a few weeks down the track, Ryan wrote a letter to Santa just in time for Christmas. This is a massive leap from this young man. We are very proud of Ryan.

We brought in talent to support our growth to a new phase in 2025. As you come through the doors, you may bump into our new admin officer, Candy Chan. Candy is a holder of a Bachelors in Linguistics - With Honours (English Major) and a Cert IV - Human Resource Management.

She finds it incredibly rewarding to provide administrative support to clients, families, children and clinicians and she
always strives for excellence in all her endeavours. Candy's core strength is in listening and finding solutions to everyday admin problems and she enjoys supporting children and working alongside families on their growth journey.

She has a passion for connecting with people and helping others thrive. Shed is calm under pressure, reliable and
capable of performing efficiently in a constantly changing environment.

When not at Tools 4 Life OT, Candy loves travelling and exploring new places and meeting new people; savouring
good food and spending quality time with family and friends. Candy finds restoration and balance in practising Yoga.
Candy is a keen listener, so feel free to reach out for a chat.

2024 Annual Christmas Party: We welcome OTs Tiffany and Peter on board. We are also expanding into Logan with more OTs expected to join our teams to service our Logan and Ipswich clinics in 2025. We are a happy family of clinicians making a positive impact on families and aiming to become the benchmark for excellence in paediatric services in Australia.

Our Story

At Tools 4 Life we work with children and teenagers who have challenges completing their everyday activities. Our team is passionate about collaborating with families to develop an individualised therapy plan that is effective for their child.

We have supported our clients to achieve their goals in a range of areas including:


  • Self care - toilet training, dressing, feeding, bathing, menstruation management.

  • Play skills - motor skills development for sport and outdoor play, sharing, turn taking, learning to identify and respond to social cues, learning rules for group games.
