🌟 A step towards inclusive travel! 🌟

We congratulate Sunshine Coast Airport on their commitment to accessibility with the introduction of Aviramps - innovative, solar-powered ramps providing step-free access to aircraft. ✈️

This upgrade means safer, easier and more dignified travel for people with disability, older travellers, parents with young children, and anyone who finds stairs challenging.

The Aviramps are part of the airport’s exciting terminal redevelopment, reflecting a clear focus on inclusion, sustainability, and putting passengers first - from drop-off to take-off.

👏 Well done to Sunshine Coast Airport for leading the way in creating a more accessible travel experience for everyone.

🌻 Farewell and Thank You, Tee! 🌻

This week, we farewell Tee from our P2P Moreton Bay Team. Tee has been a valued member of the P2P family since 2023 and has made a lasting impact through her creativity, commitment, and passion for community. 💛

During her time with P2P, Tee’s innovation and enthusiasm helped bring so many wonderful initiatives to life, including Walk n Talk, Start Your Own Interest Group, our annual Wellbeing Day, and podcasting projects.

Tee also played a key role in Taum’s Fishing Day, which was proudly recognised as a HESTA Awards finalist. Tee represented P2P at the awards night in Melbourne alongside Matt and Taum, a true celebration of community achievement. 🎣🏆

While we’ll miss Tee’s energy and ideas, we’re excited to continue the amazing work she has helped foster in the Moreton Bay community, building on the strong foundations she helped create. 💛

Thank you, Tee, for all you’ve contributed - you’ll always be part of the P2P community. 🌻

🌻 It’s Invisible Disabilities Week! (19–25 October) 🌻

Not all disabilities are visible - but every person’s experience is valid and deserves understanding. 💛

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a way for people to show they may need a little extra time, understanding, or support.

At P2P, we’re proud to be part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Australia & New Zealand Network - helping to create spaces where everyone feels seen, respected, and included. 🌻

When you see the sunflower, remember: a little kindness, time and patience can make a big difference. 💚
