Erin has come to her final week of placement here at Connect and it has been an absolute pleasure to have her join the team for the past 6 weeks.

In this final week Erin delivered an education session to the team on hypertension (high blood pressure) and ran over the effects and benefits of exercise.

Pauline has been seeing Isaac in the gym across the last couple of months working on her elbow rehabiltation plan. She has been crushing her exercise program and continues to come back week after week. πŸ˜€

We are very proud of the progress Pauline has made in improving her strength and capacity for work and daily life.

Erin is a local from Palmwoods and is in her final year of her exercise physiology degree. πŸ’ͺ

She is already well known as a regular member at the Woombye gym. She loves her sport (soccer, afl, cricket, F1s) you name it, and she is keen to learn and help make our sessions even better!! πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈπŸŽ―

Yesterday we had Dan take us through a session on how to effectively use our new VALD Dynamometer - this session was extremely helpful and will have a huge impact on our strength and range of motion testing πŸ’ͺ

What’s some of the benefits of using the VALD Dyno:

✳️ Great for strength and range of motion testing pre/post injury or surgery.

✳️ See how you stack up and compare to normative data for strength.

✳️ Identify asymmetry’s in left vs right side.

✳️ Outcome driven information to make sure you are progressing to your goals.
