Almost 10 years ago we made a pretty big call.

We left stable jobs and decided to back ourselves, and each other, to build this place.

It was exciting. It was terrifying. There was a lot of uncertainty, a fair bit of anxiety, and more than a few “what are we actually doing?” moments.

And honestly, some days we still can’t believe we did it.

The last decade has thrown a lot at us. Some massive highs. Some brutal lows. Stuff you can’t plan for.

But the one constant has been this community.

People who showed up. Who trusted us. Who supported us when things were shaky. Who stuck around.

We’re proud of what this place has become.

And if you’ve been part of it at any point, trained here, shared a post, told a mate, thank you. You backed us too.

Bring on the next 10.

That’s why Challenge exists.

Structured rounds. Clear targets. Healthy competition. Plenty of s**t-stirring.

You walk in tired. You walk out better.

Hard session. Good banter. Much better mood.

Negativity bias is the brain’s tendency to focus more on negative experiences than positive ones.

From an evolutionary perspective, missing a threat mattered more than missing a compliment.

So one bad session can outweigh five good ones in your memory. That shows up in training constantly.

One average workout and suddenly you think you’re going backwards.

Recognising it doesn’t erase it, but it stops you believing every negative thought. Sometimes it’s not truth. It’s just your brain being dramatic.

Save this for the next time one session tries to rewrite your whole story.
