Eligible patients for government provided 2021 influenza vaccine are:
anyone 65 years and over.
pregnant mother , this can be given at any time of the gestation,
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months to under 5 years and 15 years and older
persons over six months who have a medical condition making them prone to severe influenza needing several medical check or hospital admission, including children aged six months to 10 years taking aspirin.
people who have heart diseases, chronic respiratory conditions like emphysema, immune suppressing diseases, diabetes, chronic neurological conditions, kidney diseases, blood disorders, severe obesity, liver disease and residents of aged care and long-term residential care facilities.
