Be sure to visit Ramesa Nursery at their ARISE Festival market stall!

Run by Peter and Romaine, this family-owned retail garden centre and picnic gardens is nestled in the South Burnett just north of Kingaroy, proudly operating "With the Gardener in Mind" — offering healthy plants, helpful advice and affordable prices.

Their stall showcases an extensive range of herb and veggie seedlings, perennials, fruit trees, natives and bush tucker, alongside Romaine's handcrafted pots, kokedama, baskets and birdbaths made from the property's own red soil.

Stop by for a chat, soak up some garden inspiration, and ask them about their creative workshops and exciting new "A Maze n Coffee" weekends launching August 2026!

Marg Enkelmann will be sharing her Farm Waste Wearable Art at the ARISE! Festival!

Marg Enkelmann and her husband, Peter, have been farming for forty years in the Byee area near Murgon. Not only is Marg an amazing farmer, she is also an incredible fashion designer - turning farm waste into wearable art using fertiliser bags, tractor tyre inner tubes, corn husks…

Since 2005, Marg has created more than 40 fashion items from various types of waste from the farm using some unlikely dressmaking tools – welding torches, pliers and a hot iron. Her fashions have featured at Queensland Rural, Regional and Remote Women’s Network (QRRRWN) events, flood recovery occasions, the Queensland Broncos Club, the Cotton Fibre Expo in Narrabri and in many other Queensland locations.

“Everything comes from rubbish and recyclable things from a farm . . . the gloves, jewellery, stoles, dresses, hats, and now and again, wigs. The motto is to ‘reuse, recycle and reduce’.”

“Farming life can get rather serious, but with farm wearable art, it doesn’t care about size, colour or age. All it cares about is giving you fun and laughter.”

Marg Enkelmann and her farm waste wearable art, showcases the power of creativity, no matter your age and serves as a reminder that life's most beautiful moments are those we share.

As she transforms farm waste into extraordinary pieces of wearable art, she weaves threads of connection that bring people of all ages together. From 15-year-olds to 80-year-olds, Marg's art sparks laughter, camaraderie, and shared experiences that bridge generations.

Get Your Bars Run With Rosie @ ARISE! Festival! Rosie Rose is an Access Bars Practitioner, Body Process Practitioner, Certified Facilitator of Miracle Work, and Neuroscience Coach who supports people to move beyond stress, overthinking, overwhelm, and the feeling of being stuck.

Through Access Bars, a gentle hands-on technique where 32 points on the head are lightly touched, Rosie creates a calming space for the mind and nervous system to soften, allowing more ease, clarity, and spaciousness to emerge.

Her work is not about fixing you, but helping release what no longer serves so you can reconnect with more of yourself and experience life with greater lightness and possibility.

Food and Nourishments @ ARISE! We are so grateful for the wonderful local businesses who will be open on Sunday to cater to our festival community for lunch and more 😋

ON-SITE: we have Festival Sponsor's Warrior Water refilling station to keep us all well hydrated.

Mon-Dee Coffee 2 Go & Catering will be onsite keeping us caffeinated and energised with their barrista coffee, drinks and sweet treats.

Limited sandwiches available for purchase, made by Kingaroy Busy Bee Cafe.

NEAR BY: we have Dusty Daisy Coffee & Collective serving up Barista Made Coffee, delicious comfort foods including pumpkin soup, crumpets and sweet treats, with both Vegan and Gluten free options available (see menu in post)

Also Wooroolin Grand Hotel
will be serving lunch including Pizza, Burgers, Steak sandwiches and toasties.

A hot tip so you don't miss out on any of the day - place and pay for your lunch order, on your way in and pick up when you're ready!
