General information
The Guinea Pig Haven Rescue Shelter is designed to provide a Haven for orphaned, injured, neglected and unwanted guinea pigs. We are the first official Guinea Pig based shelter in North Queensland. The shelter is run with a family/homely feel, with every guinea pig being bought into our family. Each and everyone of them leaves foot prints on our hearts. We rely solely on community support to keep afloat. Adoption and viewings are by appointment only, though I am always available for help and surrenders. I am reachable via email and mobile. No sow and boar combinations of any sorts will be sold UNLESS your boar is castrated. Adoption fees assist in costs of any medical treatment, general care of guinea pigs and maintenance of the shelter. NO profit is made from the sale of any guinea pig.
