This meta-analysis showed that massage therapy can significantly lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure in patients with hypertension and prehypertension. The reductions in blood pressure were comparable to those achieved by some antihypertensive medications, highlighting the potential to use massage therapy as an adjunct treatment for hypertension.

The findings of this 2023 meta-analysis are compelling, showing clear benefits of massage therapy in cancer pain management. It adds to the growing body of literature supporting non-pharmacological interventions for cancer pain management, aligning with current trends toward holistic patient care.

I will be taking a week off from 29th Feb to 7th March. If you would like a massage around this time it is best to book in ahead of time (i.e. NOW) to secure the available spots either side of this. I currently have spots on Mon, Wed & Thu mornings, all day Thursday 22nd, and only a couple of spots on Friday afternoons. Get in quick! :)
