ARRIVING — At the beginning of class we take time to Arrive. Time and space for you to shift gears.. To let go of the energy of your day, week, or what you were doing before you entered the studio. And come into Presence, so you get the most out of your practice.
Time to arrive into connection with yourself, your breath and your body.
After this energy shift and slowing of the mind, you are able to get the most out of your practice. Feeling in flow and experiencing a moving meditation.

TIMETABLE UPDATES ✨👇
Please note:
• Wednesday evening Bikram is no longer on the schedule due to lack of interest.
• Carla's classes will be covered by the team from the 9th to 16th March while she is away. During this time there will be no Friday morning Astanga, and Sunday morning Ashtanga will instead be Power Yoga.
• We also have a wonderful guest cover teacher, Danielle, coming in to teach Carla’s classes from 30th March - 9th April. More details to come.

If you would love to try Bikram with Gary on a Wednesday evening, do it sooner rather than later! And if you've been and loved it, please keep coming to class so we can keep it o the schedule. Unfortunately if there isn't more attendance for this class it won't continue next month.

Congrats to our devoted Yogi and longtime student and friend Fran.
Bangarra Dance Theatre, Australia's leading Indigenous dance company, has won the prestigious international award, the Golden Lion, at the Venice Biennale.
The prize for lifetime achievement in dance, first awarded in 1995, will be presented during the international festival of contemporary dance, Venice Danza, which kicks off in July.
Frances Rings, the artistic director of Bangarra, has described the win as a "validation of the important role of Bangarra in bringing First Nations stories to the stage and the responsibility that we carry".
"It's quite emotional because Bangarra doesn't do what it does to receive awards," she told ABC Arts.
"The reward for us is the validation from our communities and from our Elders, and when we see our audiences' perceptions change and shift and they become our allies and support First Nations people."

Yoga Mix at 9am on Wednesdays with Carla is exactly that - a mix. Expect variety. Each week Carla tunes into what the group is needing and wanting and tailors each class to suit the group a the day. Sometimes that will mean more strength, more softness or a mix. Sometimes it will mean more floor work and maybe even some Pilates. Other days it might include some Fly High Yoga, like this day!
