My deepest thanks to everyone who joined and supported yesterday’s Pain-Free Living Workshop. What a beautiful day! No photos to show, as we were totally immersed ❤️‍🔥✨️😅

My highlights were seeing eyes light up with the possibility of this practice, sitting by the cosy fire on a drizzly day, and hearing laughter in the background while my son was getting cuddles from the support team, so I could teach with ease!

Time for an intro to my family and Pain-free Living. 3 years ago, it dawned on me that I was going to build a Wellness Centre, here on the Sunny Coast.
Think healthspan, not just lifespan. Why celebrate another decade if you’re unwell or barely moving... barely living?

I decided:
✨️I don’t want to groan every time I move
✨️I want to run free, barefoot, and wild with silver hair and wrinkles
✨️I don’t want to fear falling or getting a hunchback, no thanks!
And now that it's possible... ✨️I want to play on the floor with future grandkids, not watch from the couch

My healing journey showed me that a key component of achieving this is maintenance of connective tissue, and after exploring several fascia-based methods, I committed to the best one, and became a teacher.

I began online classes for family and friends, then taught locally. Around that time, my husband, Brody, and I sold our renovated home and ended up Airbnb hopping for six weeks (long-story 🤪). Our golden retriever, Buddy, came too... and so did an unexpected surprise: I was pregnant!

Amid the chaos, I kept building my business, planned our epic wedding and European honeymoon, and prepped for baby life. We found our home in Wurtulla, by the beach ⛱️

Our son, Jack, was born early November last year, at the same beautiful place where we were married. He’s extraordinary 💓

I thought becoming a mum might shift my dreams, but it lit a fire in me instead. I’m 42 with my first baby and more motivated than ever to live healthy and age well. My big dream will build slowly, but surely 💪

The aging we see around us may be common, but it's highly accelerated, and it doesn’t have to be your path. Look at the Blue Zones, where people live long, independent, vibrant lives. They climb stairs, squat in vegetable gardens, and ride bikes in their 90s.
That can be me.
That can be you!

If you’re 35+, now is the time to think about your healthspan. If you keep living the way you are now, where will you be in 2 or 3 decades?
Your health is your responsibility. If ignored, it can become everyone else’s... even a burden.

Choose life. Choose longevity. Choose wellness.
It’s your most important asset to protect 🌱✨️🤸‍♀

After living persistent pain and chronic fatigue for over 15 years,
I honestly thought that I'd never get out of pain, I’d written healing off.
Feeling like I was a young woman stuck in an elderly woman's body, I assumed it would only get worse as I got older.
But everything changed when I discovered fascia decompression,
especially through a practice called Block Therapy.
It wasn’t just relief…
It felt like my body started waking up again, from the inside out.
That’s why I created this workshop.
For those who feel stiff, sore, tired, or like they’re aging faster than they want to.
For those who’ve tried stretching, yoga, massage, chiro, physio (all wonderful things!)
but still know: “I could feel better than this”.
This practice helps you feel strong, supple, energised…
and truly at home in your body again.

Sharing something special.. my interview with the beautiful Deanna, founder of Block Therapy, that I now teach {and absolutely love!}

This practice was incredibly supportive during my pregnancy, and especially in my birth and recovery journey. It helped me in ways I didn’t even know I needed... physically, emotionally, and energetically.

A warm farewell from Pain-free Living as I deepen into my mumma-bubba cocoon.

The next 2-3 weeks will be spent resting, taking gentle walks, enjoying ocean dips, and sunning myself & baby Jack, who I’m eagerly waiting to cuddle 👶🌞

There's so much more wellness wisdom to share next year, from a whole new perspective, no doubt!

For now, thank you for your love and support. I look forward to reconnecting on the other side of this magical journey 🐛 ➡️ 🦋

🌿Healing and thriving are most powerful—and perhaps only truly effective—when nurtured in community, much like the symbiotic relationship between trees and mycelium in nature. I learned this firsthand while healing from chronic pain and other health challenges. What I cherish most about Morning Light Studio is the deep sense of community and connection it encourages. To celebrate the studio’s 5th birthday, they’re hosting a complimentary Pilates and yoga event, outside by the lake, followed by delicious refreshments, on Saturday the 14th at 1 pm. Everyone is welcome—come join us!
