Started packing up at the market after 9 drops of rain started to fall towards the end. Only to discover a thunder storm had bypassed us and soaked everywhere but where we were. Sitting here now with the sound of rain and thunder again. Apparently it got to 32 today, no wonder I felt hot. πŸŒ§οΈπŸ’§πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

Sunday oracle: Lammas/Lughnasadh edition! πŸŒŸπŸŒ πŸŒ•

From the Seasons of the Witch Lammas oracle comes, 'Poppy'. This card is asking you to reconnect with yourself, (pretty sure we had a card asking for this recently).

You can only push yourself so far before something gives. Your soul will struggle sending guidance, and ways to heal and inspiration when you are tired both physically and emotionally. πŸ™πŸ’« Taking a break from things is needed. Time for yourself to reconnect to yourself and find the pleasures in things that have slipped away as outside sources have needed your attention. 🌼🌻

Healthy boundary setting, taking stock of the things you're grateful for and taking time for you should be a priority for you at the height of summer. Think of it as a time of recharging and using that bright sun and warmth to fuel that as we start to begin the decent into the quiet, darker months ahead. 🌞🌟

Lammas, (loaf mass), is the point between Summer and Autumn. The first harvest and baking of bread that is made from the harvested wheat, oats, barley and corn. As I write this my mind goes to older times and a village filled with the scent of freshly baked bread, or for me as a child, the smell of the bread from the local bread factory we'd sometimes go and ask for a fresh roll coming off the conveyor belt. πŸŒΎπŸžπŸŒΌπŸŽ‰πŸ‘

Cats and Tarot Tuesday late edition: 8 of cups from the Darkwood tarot that was hiding on my shelf! This card is where we're currently sitting in our minds. Things we wanted, treasured, things that meant something, have lost their shine and there are thoughts about just walking away from them. It's not an impulsive thing, it's been lurking at the back of your mind for a while now. This may involve stepping out of your comfort zone, especially if you're leaving something behind that has been a part of you for quite a while. Stepping into the unknown is always scary and the mountains in the background show that it will have its ups and downs. The snakes around the cups suggest you can't stay put either. πŸˆπŸ’«πŸŒ™πŸ‘‘πŸ’

Sunday oracle: Isis, from the Ascended masters oracle. You already know this, this card right now is the reminder and asks you to put things into action so you can balance things out. Start by creating time for things, no matter how small, rather than putting them off and not getting around to it. Saying no or ask others to pick up the slack so you're freeing up time for the things you're doing rather than doing the things others aren't.

I've realised I've been a bit quiet for a bit too long. A bit of frustration at the page's reach shrinking to nothing and Irene passing away last week has left me a bit quiet. Not the start of the year I'd have chosen but there we are.

Hope you're doing well, and that if you're in need of treasure, I am here to furnish those needs. πŸŒŸπŸ’«πŸŒ πŸ‘πŸ’«βοΈ
