At first, it showed itself as a small child standing in her room.

Her parents tried to comfort her. John would tell Phoebe not to be scared — that it was just a little boy and it couldn’t hurt her.

But that night, the form changed.

The small child disappeared… and the entity began appearing as Po from Kung Fu Panda.

Phoebe began waking terrified in the night, sometimes speaking in ways that didn’t sound like her at all — telling her parents there were “naughty boys” and that they would “go down the slippery dip.”
