equilibrium kinesiology

equilibrium kinesiology Bringing physical, mental & emotional aspects into balance for a state of perfect equilibrium. I hold a Certificate IV and a Diploma in Kinesiology.

I am also trained and accredited in Neural Organisation Therapy (N.O.T.) and Hyperton-X. I knew little about Kinesiology until early 2013 when I experienced it first hand with inspiring results. I'd had a water skiing accident years prior and had intermittent back pain ever since. Regular chiropractic and osteopath treatments managed the pain however I was only getting relief for a limited time (generally I was having treatments every 3 months, sometimes more). At the suggestion of a friend I tried Kinesiology, approaching it with an open, yet somewhat sceptical and wary mind. The Kinesiologist didn’t even touch my back yet I walked away with no back pain. I was very impressed but wondered how long the benefits would last. I've not had back pain since. I was so impressed that I commenced studying Kinesiology to learn more and hopefully help others achieve the same outcomes I experienced. I continue to be amazed at what can be achieved via Kinesiology. It operates on the premise that emotions and emotional trauma can and will impact you physically – it has a holistic focus and this concept resonates with me. It’s similar to a counselling session with a physical balance as well. My aim is to assist you to find a healthy balance/equilibrium, so you too can experience the positive effects Kinesiology can have on your life.

And right here you have this awesome way of tapping in to the body, letting it tell you what it needs, and a means of giving it support, so you two (i.e. you & your body) can live together amicably. 🤩

I heard this today and thought ‘ain’t that the truth!’, but then thought about it more… and it’s actually not ‘comparison’ that is the thief, it’s envy. Comparison can be a good thing when it’s aspirational, and we use it for motivation, driven from a good place. It’s when we allow comparison to become envy that it steals our joy. Right? If it’s not aspirational, forget it! No joy stealing thanks. 😉

Standing up for yourself doesn’t have to equate to, or result in ‘burning a bridge’. Preferably no bridge burning at all actually. Just a fire in your belly to stick up for yourself, warmth in your heart from self love and appreciation, and a voice that speaks fairly, steadily and easily, to be heard and understood. If the message isn’t taken on board…ride at dawn baby. Giddy-up! 🔥🐎😉

Might sound creepy at first glance (cause they were once actual human bodies), but it’s really quite fascinating. If you’re interested in the human body and how it works, and of course, the ‘Anatomy of Happiness’, it’s worth a look. 👀

Weird looking word huh. How do you pronounce it? 🤷‍♀️ I’ve heard lots of funny attempts but the best yet was the other day when a client told me her young daughter calls me the ‘zucchini-ologist’. 🤣🤣 That really tickled my fancy. For the record, it’s pronounced ’kin-easy-ologist’ but I’ll answer to zucchini-ologist, no problem. 😉

Our Story

I hold a Certificate IV and a Diploma in Kinesiology. I’m also trained and accredited in Neural Organisation Therapy (N.O.T.) and Hyperton-X. I knew little about Kinesiology until I experienced it first hand with inspiring results. I’d had a water skiing accident years prior and had experienced intermittent back pain ever since. Regular chiropractic and osteopath treatments managed it however I was only getting relief for a limited time and generally having treatments every 3 months, sometimes more. At the suggestion of a friend I tried Kinesiology, approaching it with an open, yet somewhat sceptical and wary mind. The Kinesiologist hardly touched my back yet I walked away with no back pain. I was very impressed but wondered how long the benefits would last.... I've not had that back pain since. I was so impressed I commenced studying Kinesiology and continue to be amazed at the breadth of issues it’s effective for and what it can achieve. It’s effective not only for physical pain (like the back pain I’d experienced), but is also brilliant for emotional and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety and is a fabulous motivational and mindset tool. It’s also beneficial for digestive issues, fatigue/sleep disturbances, energy levels, immune system boosts - the list seriously goes on and on! It has a holistic focus which resonates with me. It’s similar to a counselling session with a physical balance as well.

The definition of ‘equilibrium’ is “a state of physical balance, emotional and mental composure in which the energy system is evenly distributed and forces and influences balance each other”. My aim is to help you achieve your own ‘equilibrium’ by bringing the positive effects of Kinesiology into your life.
