So proud of you Dani - such a inspiration to everyone ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Danielleโs story is a story of perseverance, purpose and a lot of heart and courage.
When Danielle Englund decided to study pharmacy, she was 27, raising two young kids, and working part-time. She knew it wouldnโt be easy, but also knew sheโd regret not trying.
Fast forward three years, and sheโs in her final semester with the TasPharm Award for Outstanding Achievement in Minor Ailments.
Danielleโs story started at 16 with a weekend job in a local pharmacy. From there, she worked her way up, completed her Cert III and IV, and gained years of experience as a dispensary technician. That foundation gave her the confidence to return to study and the perspective to succeed.
What followed was a blur of pracs, assessments, parenting, and long days, but she never gave up. She studied with kids on her lap, leaned on her support network, and learned to keep going even when things felt overwhelming.
โI hope one day, when my kids look back, theyโll see itโs possible to be both devoted and ambitious. To be a present parent and still chase your own dreams.โ
We couldnโt be prouder to support people like Danielle, who bring care, resilience, and purpose to the future of pharmacy. Congratulations, Danielle!
