**The Silent Build-up: Why Prevention is the Best Cure
In Traditional Medicine, we often speak of "Dampness"—a build-up of metabolic waste and toxins that clogs the body’s natural flow. This internal "sludge" is often the root cause of more serious conditions. When toxins accumulate due to poor sleep, an unhealthy diet, weak gut health, or chronic emotional stress, the body’s regulatory systems begin to fail.

*The of 10-Year Window
If left unaddressed under high-stress conditions, this imbalance can eventually lead to cellular mutation, such as tumors or cancer. What is worse, these changes rarely show symptoms until they have reached a critical stage.
It is often said that it takes nearly ten years for a 1-cm cubic tumor to develop. During that decade, your immune system is in a constant tug-of-war—growing and shrinking the threat under "immune surveillance." While there is a window of time where these effects can be reversed or managed, our options become much more limited once the condition has progressed too far.

*Simple in Theory, Challenging in Practice
How do we prevent this? The pillars of health sound simple, yet they are the hardest to maintain in our modern world:
• Mindfulness & Stress Control
• Regular Exercise
• Restorative Sleep (7–8 hours)
• A "Correct" Diet: Remember, health is personal. What works for one person’s constitution may be harmful to yours.
• Healthy Digestion: consistency of bowel movements is a key sign of your guts health, bloating and discomfort is very simple symptoms but they are not good ones.

Don't Wait for the Symptom
The lifestyle choices you make today dictate your health ten years from now. Many people drift into unhealthy patterns without realizing how far they’ve strayed.

Traditional Medicine excels in this preventive stage. We collect early manifestation outside, look at the root causes, and try to balance your system before they presented as a disease.

Acupuncture helps improve blood circulation and balances the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic and parasympathetic), effectively "releasing" the stress stored in your physical body.

Start with something small today. Check your diet, plan a short walk, or try to get to bed 30 minutes earlier. If you are struggling with chronic fatigue or high stress, come visit us. We can help you find your way back to balance.

A groundbreaking discovery from Taiwan is bridging traditional medicine and modern science. Researchers at China Medical University have shown that acupuncture doesn’t just relieve pain—it can trigger stem cells to repair damaged organs naturally. Electroacupuncture at specific points, like ST36 (Zusanli) and GV20 (Baihui), stimulates the bone marrow to release mesenchymal stem cells into the bloodstream. These stem cells then travel to injured tissues, differentiate into organ-specific cells, and release healing factors.
Within 24 hours, stem cell levels in circulation increased by 300%, providing a measurable biological explanation for acupuncture’s therapeutic effects—beyond placebo. Stroke patients treated with electroacupuncture within 48 hours recovered 40% better than those with standard care. Liver cirrhosis patients showed reduced fibrosis markers, while heart attack survivors experienced improved cardiac function.
This discovery is rewriting how Western medicine views acupuncture. For thousands of years, it was considered purely traditional, yet science now shows a sophisticated, measurable mechanism for healing. Ancient practices are finally being validated through modern imaging and cellular tracking, revealing that needle stimulation can activate the body’s own repair systems.
The message is clear: acupuncture is more than sensation—it’s a biological trigger for regeneration, showing how centuries-old practices can integrate with cutting-edge science.

The 2025 Nobel Prize in Medicine has been awarded to Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi for their discovery of the biological "master switch" that governs immune tolerance. Their research successfully identified how the human body prevents its powerful defense systems from attacking its own healthy organs. This fundamental breakthrough explains the complex mechanisms that maintain internal balance and protect us from the very cells designed to keep us safe.

The discovery began with Shimon Sakaguchi’s identification of "regulatory T cells," which act as a vital biological brake on immune activity. This work reached a climax when Brunkow and Ramsdell identified the FOXP3 gene as the master switch that controls these cells. Interestingly, this discovery was made while studying a rare and fatal autoimmune disorder in children, illustrating how investigating rare diseases can lead to universal medical breakthroughs that benefit all of humanity.

By revealing these cellular controls, the laureates have established the foundation for a new era of medical treatments for autoimmune diseases and organ transplant success. Their work is currently being used to develop therapies that can reprogram the immune environment to fight cancer and manage chronic inflammatory conditions. This Nobel-winning research marks a pivotal shift in immunology, moving toward a more sophisticated understanding of how the body regulates its own biological power.

The human body has a well-designed healing system- including the immune system- to communicate problems and heal themselves naturally If we keep taking care of the basics.

When health issues arise, it’s crucial in the long run to look back at your lifestyle—such as diet, sleep, and stress management —and try to correct them. If you rely solely on medication to fix a problem without identifying and changing the bad habits that caused it, you would likely end up facing other health issues down the road.
So, it's important to understand your innate constitution and maintain a lifestyle that aligns with your unique needs.

In traditional Medicine, restore your own body function with treatment, and health promotion and prevention are the main goals. Balance and moderation are core principles of traditional medicine.

'The panel agreed that, for healthy individuals with normal sleep, the appropriate sleep duration for newborns is between 14 and 17 hours, infants between 12 and 15 hours, toddlers between 11 and 14 hours, preschoolers between 10 and 13 hours, and school-aged children between 9 and 11 hours. For teenagers, 8 to 10 hours was considered appropriate, 7 to 9 hours for young adults and adults, and 7 to 8 hours of sleep for older adults.'

Sufficient sleep duration requirements vary across the lifespan and from person to person. The recommendations reported here represent guidelines for healthy individuals and those not suffering from a sleep disorder. Sleep durations outside the recommended range may be appropriate, but deviating far...

Median nerve stimulation induces analgesia via orexin-initiated endocannabinoid disinhibition in the periaqueductal gray.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30348772/

In brief, this research shows that one of acupuncture point PC6 which runs on median nerve works by activating hypothalamic orexin neurons, orexin leads to reduce pain in the process. In addition, this process doesn't involve opioids. This suggests a promising new strategy for managing pain, especially for patients who are tolerant to opioids/ addicts in the future. While acupuncture itself has been used for thousands of years, this research explains its underlying mechanisms

Adequate pain management remains an unmet medical need. We previously revealed an opioid-independent analgesic mechanism mediated by orexin 1 receptor (OX1R)-initiated 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) signaling in the ventrolateral periaqueductal gray (vlPAG). Here, we found that low-frequency median n...

There is always a certain cause to bring a pain.

Traditional Medicine is always trying to find the cause(injury/inflammation/structure/weak n unstable spine..=Blood stasis/Damp- Heat/ Qi stagnation/Essence deficiency..). Every body has a different energy from TM theory. Individual diagnosis & treatment is important. Lower back pain has been all along with human history. Just pain killer cannot just make this issue better.

A simple exercise like walking increases the size of your brain.

Having a sedentary lifestyle is basically a slow death sentence.

The groundbreaking study was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Researchers found that adults who walked for 40 minutes, three times a week, for a year experienced growth in the hippocampus — a region of the brain crucial for spatial memory.

In contrast, those who only engaged in stretching and toning exercises saw their hippocampus shrink.

Neuroscientist Arthur Kramer, one of the study’s authors, explains that physical activity promotes the birth of new neurons, which in turn enhances memory function. This research supports the idea that our evolutionary need for movement is deeply tied to cognitive health, reinforcing the importance of an active lifestyle for maintaining mental sharpness.

The study further challenges the common belief that brain exercises like crossword puzzles are the key to cognitive longevity.

While intellectual engagement does play a role, researchers, including psychologist Margaret Gatz, emphasize that physical activity is a stronger predictor of brain health. Additionally, factors such as midlife obesity and diabetes have been linked to increased risks of cognitive decline.

The takeaway? It’s never too late to start moving.

Even previously sedentary individuals in their 60s and 80s showed remarkable brain benefits from walking. So, if you're looking for an easy yet powerful way to support brain health, simply lacing up your sneakers and going for a walk might be the smartest move you can make.

Traditional medicine (TM) does a systematic approach to diagnosis, which involves gathering information about each individual patient's condition/constitution through a variety of methods.

These methods include:
*Inspection: The practitioner observes the patient's overall appearance, including their complexion, posture, and tongue.
*Palpation: The practitioner feels the patient's pulse and body temperature.
*Inquiry: The practitioner asks the patient about their symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle habits.
*Auscultation and olfaction: The practitioner listens to the patient's breathing and voice, and smells their body odor.

The traditional medicine diagnostic methods play a crucial role in understanding the patient's unique constitution and the nature of their current illness.

This method is quite different from those used in modern medicine. This holistic approach can find and address some health conditions that modern medicine sometimes misses.

Traditional medicine (TM), including acupuncture and herbal medicine, has been used for centuries to treat a wide range of health conditions.

Acupuncture, which involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body(12 meridian), regulate the internal energy. It has been shown to be effective in treating pain, many other conditions, such as arthritis, headaches, menopausal syndrome, anxiety, and depression. Herbal medicine, which uses plants to treat illness, has also been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions as well. For example, many studies have shown that herbal medicine can be helpful in treating the common cold, allergies, arthritis, wound healing, and digestive problems.

Its effects have been recognized more like empirically for thousand years. These days scientific research , esp with a big progress of bio-molecule, has been providing increasing evidence of the efficacy. More research will be coming up to prove its efficacy of TM.

TM is simply about to balance of your internal energy, restore it's function with acupuncture and herb, so that let your body to do what supposed to do, which is very natural.
