Unfortunately Dr David Cannon will be concluding his time at Yamba Private Clinic, having made the decision to return to Army Medical Service.
This change was unexpected, and we understand it will be disappointing and challenging for many patients.

As a result, routine appointment wait times will be longer than usual.
Patients who have recently joined the practice under Dr Cannon’s care are encouraged to seek alternative healthcare providers.

Our friendly rural GP clinic in stunning Yamba is growing, with a new GP joining us in October 2025, we’re looking for a warm, experienced Registered Nurse to become part of our team.

You’ll be working in a supportive practice where your skills are valued, and your work–life balance is respected.

About the Role

Part-time: 2–3 days per week to start, with potential for more hours
Collaborate closely with our GPs and reception team
Start date: October 2025
What We’re Looking For:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience in general practice or a similar setting (preferred)
A friendly, team-focused attitude and a passion for patient care
