And that’s a wrap for us!

Today was the last day of business for our Yanchep studio 😢

Thank you to all our wonderful practice members who have come through our doors over the past year since we opened. It’s been a true privilege to have cared and looked after you all - thank you for your trust and support.

We are very sad to have to close and say goodbye to you all. Thank you all for your understanding during this transition.

To all our amazing practice members,

It is with much sadness that we have to announce the closure of our Yanchep studio at the end of next week.😔

Many of you may have heard that Dr. Ash is finishing up at the end of October to pursue other interests and spend more time with her family. This was a difficult decision for her to come to, but the right one for her and her family.

Over the last few months we have been trying to find another amazing Chiropractor to take over at Yanchep, with the same values and ethos of wanting to serve and support the local community. Unfortunately, with the climate of today’s job market we have struggled to find any suitable candidates in the time frame before Dr. Ash finishes up.

With our ongoing financial commitments and the uncertainty of being able to find a suitable replacement, we are no longer in a position where we can continue to operate anymore. This is not a decision we have made lightly and we have held out for as long as we can.

Thank you to everyone who has come through our doors and supported us over the past year since we opened. We have felt truly welcomed by the local community and we will miss being able to see and help you all.

We have emailed everyone and will be contacting everyone who has been in recently via email, sending them copies of their file for easy transfer to another local Chiropractor or to our Warwick studio. We will provide referral details for anyone interested, please email us at info@thespinestudio.com.au to let us know if you wish to be emailed your details.

•DJILBA•

Firstly, we want to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay respect to elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We want to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Whadjuk Nyoongar people, the Traditional Owners of the land for which our studio and city reside in.

In the Nyoongar calendar, August and September are part of Djilba, the season of conception and growing.

With warmer days and cold nights, during Djilba the weather comes warmer with less rain.

The emergence of wildflowers in the wheat belt heralds the beginning of Djilba. It starts with the flowering of the yellow acacias, then later vivid blues and purples. Reptiles begin to emerge at the end of Djilba.

If wildflowers signal the beginning of your hay fever and allergies, this is a great time to focus on supporting your immune function with getting more vitamin D (sunshine ☀️ and/or supplement), vitamin C, zinc and magnesium), sufficient rest and lots of fruit and vegetables.
