Grief and feelings around loss are a very individual experience, never the same for everyone, these are just some of the benefits I've felt while working through my grief using hypnotherapy as one of my main tools:

Grief is a strange old thing. It can creep up on you when you least expect it, it can hit you like a tonne of bricks, it can come and go in fleeting waves, it can consume your every thought on any given day. It truly is an individual experience for everyone. However, there is another side to grief, if you can find it amongst the heavy fog. And in my personal experience through grief and loss I have found an unexpected peace and appreciation - a view of life through very different eyes. I have experienced loss in my life which has left me feeling like the rug was well and truly whipped out from underneath my feet and sent me flying, falling. My grief is what brought me to seek hypnotherapy for myself and when I felt the amazing benefits, I had to learn and study everything about it so I could share this experience. Being able to go inward and connect with my feelings, experiences and emotions on a much deeper, subconscious level has been a gift to say the least. When I read this I really wanted to share it with you all as it resonates with me so much. I will share some more in the coming days about my experiences with grief and loss and how hypnotherapy has been a game changer for me, but in the meantime, if you need to talk or want to reach out to me, I'm here to listen ๐Ÿ’–โœจ๏ธ

More often than not; people who haven't tried or won't consider hypnotherapy don't know enough about it. Or they've heard a myth around hypnosis which has put them off! The "stage-show" side of hypnosis used for entertainment, yes, it's often entertaining, but it can also be rather off-putting from the therapy itself and the great work it can do for so many people. So I thought I'd bust a few of these myths! Have you heard any of these before, or maybe even thought them yourself?
