The clinic will be open **7am to 7pm, 7 days a week**, providing accessible urgent care for our local community when you need it most.

This service is funded by the Australian Government under the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic program.

Had a wonderful catch up with Lorna Clarke MLA and Tracey Roberts - Federal Member for Pearce recently
We will be announcing specific details soon for the Medicare urgent care clinic.

Currently still offering bulk billing for all eligible Medicare patients for GP appointments.

It was fantastic to catch up with Dr Charles Meribole and his team at Lagoon Medical Centre Yanchep, alongside my State colleague, Member for Butler, Lorna Clarke MLA, to see where the new Yanchep Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will be located! 🏥

The new Clinic operated by Lagoon Medical Centre will be open extended hours, seven days a week and will be fully bulk billed with no out of pocket costs.

This fills an important gap for the growing community, especially after hours and on weekends, and will take pressure off the Joondalup Hospital emergency department.

The Albanese Labor Government is strengthening Medicare and delivering for Pearce.

Exciting Announcement 📣

Opening soon Yanchep Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.

🎉 I'm pleased to announce the Yanchep Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will be located at 15 Ikara Lane, Yanchep!

Operated by the Lagoon Medical Centre Yanchep within the ECU Health Centre, the clinic is on track to open in late February and will be available seven days a week with extended hours and will be fully bulk billed.

No gap fees, no waiting weeks for appointments, just walk-in care when you need it.

Meet our team 👨🏽‍⚕️

We would like to introduce Dr Chibueze Mbanaso to the Lagoon Medical Centre Yanchep team.

Dr Mbanaso qualified as a medical doctor in 2008 and has dedicated his career to delivering compassionate and patient-focused care. He spent over a decade practicing in Nigeria before moving to the UK in 2019, where he continued to support patients from all walks of life. Dr Mbanaso has a strong interest in mental health, respiratory conditions, and management of chronic diseases. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients and supporting them to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. 

He will commence in January 2026.
