Prepare yourselves…. At first I thought this would be emotional…. Sad even, but as I get further along in planning, Im really excited and SO POSITIVE, because I am a powerhouse woman.

A fellow local cafe owner said to me once I’d opened,
“Be careful, you could create a monster” & I replied “nope all good, I’m keeping it small”
And so at the end of 2.5yrs with an open store front…. Was my MONSTER ! 👹

I had x3 options.
Go bigger.
stay small.
Close KTK’s.

I have chosen small, & I have chosen life.
A life where I won’t have to lose my business, a life where I can be healthy, be present when my young men need me the most, a wife that can say “yes, I can”, Have time to be with my new found friends & their families.

In fact, as so many bakers would love the opportunity to do go big and so many have, I am going back to the very beginning, & making it work… for me.

BAKING FROM SCRATCH OF THE

INCREDIBLE COFFEE.

Everything In between will no longer be available at KTK’s. Literally.

I will still ( obviously ) bake for our big celebrations thru the year, Easter, Christmas etc.)

I have built my brand, I have built loyalty,
I have created a community & a whole heap of family & friends who know my story.

I hope you will continue to be apart of KTK’s journey because without you, I would not have been successful.

It’s going to take a bit to get used to,
I will have disappointed customers, but they will be ok. I will not apologise for choosing life.

So now that I have that taken care of,

The next time you hear from me will be updates on hours, what’s happening at the store &…… Opening Day.

Well, Here We Go, Im At The End Of KTK’s

6th Year In Business.

3.5 As A Home Business & 2.5 As A Store Front.

We Have 2 More Trading Days, MONDAY & TUESDAY Til 1pm.

I Am Then Closing The Cafe Store As You now Know It, For At Least 3-4 Weeks.

As You Know This Year Has Been A Tough One & Being Torn Between Family & Business Has Definitely Taken Its toll.

We Are Taking Some Time, Regrouping After The BIGGEST 3 MONTHS I HAVE EVA DONE,
And We Will Be Coming back Together & Planning Our Next Chapter, My Ideas Are Coming Along, & I Know Once My Brain Has Calmed, There Will Be More.
I Was Thinking Of Using The Boring Words of ‘ReBranding’ But Thats Not What We Will Be Doing, The KTK Brand Will Never Change, BAKING FROM SCRATCH & STAYING TRUE TO MY VALUES. 🌿
