Many people come into pregnancy carrying past experiences that can shape how they feel about birth , whether that’s previous birth trauma, medical trauma, sexual trauma, anxiety, or simply a deep fear of the unknown. And those feelings deserve to be acknowledged with compassion, not dismissed🙏🏼
What I appreciate about this book is how gently and respectfully Moran explores the connection between trauma, fear, and the birthing experience. It offers understanding, validation, and practical ways to approach birth with more awareness and support🤍
As a doula, trauma-informed care is so important to me. Every birthing person deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported in their journey✨
If this is something that resonates with you, I highly recommend this book 📚
