A little bit about your working history:
I’ve been a pharmacist for over 20 years, working across a range of community pharmacies in both metropolitan and regional settings, as well as overseas. I’m currently working part-time while also undertaking training in extended scope of practice through the Queensland Pharmacy Pilot. My focus includes providing professional services such as vaccinations, MedsChecks, UTI treatment, wound management, sleep apnea support, and hormonal contraception consultations.
Tell us about the REAL you outside of work. What do you like, love, hobbies, pets… ANYTHING that’s special about who you are:
Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy road trips, exploring new cafes, arranging flowers, and spending time in nature with my family. I also love reading—especially books on wellness, personal growth, and psychology.
What’s your favourite thing about working in pharmacy?
I love being part of the local community and having the chance to help people every day—whether that’s through advice, support, or simply a friendly chat. Making healthcare accessible and approachable is what motivates me most.
What are you looking forward to this year (work or personal—it doesn’t matter!)?
This year, I’m looking forward to expanding my clinical services, especially in sleep apnea, wound management, and hormonal consultations. Plus, stay tuned for our exciting PJ Day!
