2026 Osteopathic Summit!
Dr Jess joined 230 like minded osteopaths over the weekend to go over all things osteopathy!
She learnt new skills, shared stories, and caught up with amazing uni friends and old colleagues she hasn’t seen in what feels like forever (that’s life hey)
We celebrated osteopaths who had been in the industries and still treating for over 50 years, and those doing amazing things in the research fields to prove what we have been doing for hundreds of years works!
And let’s be honest, osteos did what they do best, have a great party and boogie to celebrate!
And no, Jess hasn’t just been eating too much at the breakfast buffet, her and Dylan are expecting another little addition in July this year! What a wild time!

Welcome back to our Osteopathy of Yarram Family!
Dr Jess and Dr Kylie are refreshed and started back into the clinic today for 2026 after a well deserved break.
They both look forward to helping you reach your 2026 goals and get you out of pain.
Kylie has even opened up a third day, she will be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, while Jess will be available on her normal Tuesdays and Thursday!
Cant wait to see you all! 🌸

Merry Christmas from our osteo families to yours!
Kylie and Jess wish you all a wonderful Christmas and hope you are eating all the delicious Christmas food and roll into 2026 like we will!
Kylie and Jess are going to enjoy a couple of well earnt weeks off, and will be fresh and back in the clinic from the 13th of Jan to help reach those 2026 new year goals!

The building fairy has dropped by the clinic overnight! Please excuse the reception area being a little dysfunctional while we work on the next stage of the clinic renovations!
Some remnants of the 100 year old building walls and past life as a butchers, plans have now changed to keep this stunning wall on display.

Our busy learning osteopaths! ✈️
Dr Kylie completed her Module 1 in paediatrics in QLD this long weekend so she can start treating more babies.
Both osteos have a strong passion for treating children and babies, especially since having their own little ones and knowing the special role osteopaths can have on developing little bodies!
We are incredible lucky to learn from Dr George Stylian, a true guru in the osteopathic world, and an incredibly brilliant mind in anatomy and paediatrics.
Dr Jess also made an appearance at the course, well, because she just can’t help it (like just try keep her away!).
Jess has already complete all 6 paediatrics modules (that’s over 160 hours of paediatrics training!).
We pride ourselves on the “never stop learning” approach, all so we can give the highest level of osteopathic care to our little community which we both love.
And yes, they are real bones! 💀Can you guess what bone George is holding? 🦴

Osteopaths can play a role in managing plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) in babies through gentle, hands-on techniques, focusing on improving head and neck mobility and addressing any musculoskeletal imbalances.

Plagiocephaly, or flat head syndrome, is a condition where a baby’s head develops a flat spot due to prolonged pressure on a particular area, often resulting from babies spending significant time in one position, such as lying on their back, or favouring one side!

This lack of movement/compression can also affect the cranial nerve where it exits at the top the neck/skull. This is the vagus nerve, it has a role in stomach functions, therefore babies with plagiocephaly may also have increased reflux and stomach upset, due to its role in affecting stomach muscle contractions and the release of digestive enzymes

Jess has done many years of extra paediatric training to treat babies with a range of musculoskeletal issues!
