Growing Bones

Growing Bones Osteopathy + Movement Therapy for Children & Adults ADULTS
As we age, our body's ability to self-heal generally decreases.

Growing Bones provides holistic health care and movement therapy for babies, children, teenagers and adults in Seddon, VIC. Our intention to support the physical, social and emotional health & wellbeing of the individual, and promote enjoyable social relationships in families and the community. CHILDREN
We understand physical, emotional and social environmental influences shape the way that childr

en grow and develop. Services for babies and children including osteopathy, aromatherapy and massage, plus movement therapy, work to release areas of tension in the physical body. Our goal is to create a balanced physical and emotional foundation within the infant and child, to support free exploration, healthy emotional responses and physical growth towards full potential. Activities that we once found easy, become more taxing, and our recovery time becomes longer. Services including osteopathy, aromatherapy and massage, plus movement therapy, work to ensure the maturing physical body remains flexible, balanced and functional throughout the lifespan. MOVEMENT THERAPY
Movement is central to life, our bodies are designed to move. Healthy movement and postural patterns support not only physical health, but also emotional health and self esteem. Growing Bones offers both individualised movement therapy, as well as Group Classes.

Infant feeding problems (with or without tongue tie) are often due to a number of factors, and these infants often benefit from support.

Our Osteopath Melissa spent the weekend catching up on the latest research on assessment and treatment approaches for infant feeding difficulties.

It was such a great weekend, very well done by the course presenters Dr Philip Hand and Kirsty Greenwood, who presented the science with a huge amount of compassion ❤️❤️

Pelvic pain in pregnancy is common — but it’s never random. Relaxin loosens your pelvic joints to make room for your baby, and your SI joints become more mobile. That’s normal. The pain comes when a hip on one side is stiff, or a glute is quieter than it should be — the SI joint takes up the load. The good news? When we know why, we can treat the cause. 💛
Has pelvic pain been part of your pregnancy? Tell us below.

We have a new OSTEO in our team!

Welcome CIARA SINGLETON ❤️
Ciara is available to help you Mondays, Wednesdays Thursdays- including evenings 🥰🥰

Ciara completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Master Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. Her passion for osteopathy was shaped by her own sporting journey, having played high level soccer and football. Now retired from competitive sport, Ciara brings that same discipline and understanding into her clinical practice. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and managing both acute and persistent conditions. She has a particular interest in neck pain, jaw/TMJ dysfunction and sporting injuries, and is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care tailored to each individual.

Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Ciara exploring Melbourne’s coffee scene or out running and staying active herself.

Ciara is registered with all major private health funds.
