This week is National Diabetes Week!

We're very fortunate at Yarrawonga Denis Medical to have a dedicated, diabetes focused educator, Janet Lagstrom, who works from the clinic one day a week.

Whether your newly diagnosed, or have been living with diabetes for some time, you can contact our friendly reception staff to arrange an appointment with Janet 👩🏻‍⚕️

This National Diabetes Week, we are highlighting the importance of prevention, because it matters at every stage of the journey. Whether it’s preventing type 2 diabetes or preventing complications for people living with type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes, awareness and action make a difference.

✨As one door closes, another one opens ✨

On Friday we said a hard goodbye to our wonderful Nurse Co-Ordinator, Tracey, who has been apart of the YDMG team for 9 years! Her compassion, dedication and tireless support has made a lasting impact and she will be truly missed.
We wish Trace every success for her new chapter! 🫶🏼

At the same time we're very excited to announce our new (and familiar face) Nurse Co-Ordinator, Megan!
Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having been apart of the YDMG team over the last 8 years. Her kind presence and passion for supporting both patients and staff has already made a big impact and we're excited to see her flourish in her new role. 🙌🏽

Today we say goodbye to our intern Elaine, as her placement at YDMG has sadly come to an end.
