Meet Kanna 👋

Kanna has been part of the Maximise Physiotherapy team since 2018 and brings a strong passion for helping people better understand and manage pain. He holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy and is an APA Titled Pain Physiotherapist, with postgraduate training in Pain Management through the University of Sydney.

Kanna takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care, focusing on education, movement, and empowerment to support people in living meaningful and active lives. Alongside his clinical work, Kanna also manages our Humpty Doo clinic and became a clinic partner in 2025.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Kanna staying active, spending time with loved ones, and continuing his lifelong learning — both personally and professionally.

Today we want to recognise and thank Damo for an incredible 13 years with Maximise Physiotherapy.

Since joining the clinic in 2013 after relocating from regional Victoria, Damo has been a constant and trusted presence within the team. His commitment to clinical excellence, highlighted by completing his Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and later becoming a partner in 2019, has helped shape the high standards of care our clinic is known for.

Damo brings a thoughtful and measured approach to his clinical work. Equally important has been his role in mentoring and supporting the physiotherapy team, quietly raising the bar for everyone around him.

Over the past 13 years, Damo has contributed enormously to the culture of Maximise Physiotherapy and to the care of countless clients in our community. We’re very grateful for his ongoing dedication, leadership, and the impact he continues to have on both our team and our patients.

Thank you Damo for everything you do — and for being such an important part of Maximise Physiotherapy.
