Hi friends,
I was meant to be announcing my refurbished shop at the start of if 2026, but unfortunately I have to announce that I have to close down the shop and give up my lease while I wait for surgery and see what rebab I may need afterwards.
I’m still coming to terms with the situation, I’ve been in a lot of pain, but trying to stay positive.

I’m sorry if you’ve called and I haven’t answered, or if i owe you a receipt, I’ve been on strong meds and am either in crazy pain or very drowsy. It’s taken me three weeks to be able to make this post 😩 and please know i will send your receipt asap.

I’m so sorry I can’t treat, I have the most wonderful clients, so many that I can now call friends, and I really hope you find another wonderful therapist in town to care for you.

This happened so suddenly and unfortunately I was too busted to refer anyone 😞

I hope I can give you all some happy news soon, I’m hopeful to be back in a few months, most likely with a new address.

Unfortunately, due to a health issue, I won’t be able to treat clients for hopefully no more than a couple of weeks.
If you have a booking in already, I’ll be in touch to postpone your appointment.

I’m so sorry, I hope you can get an appointment with another wonderful therapist in town while I’m unable to treat.

Hi friends, I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted on social media.

On the day of my last post, back in May last year, my beautiful Nan passed into eternity.

She was… goodness I’m already crying writing this… now you know why it’s taken so long 😭

My Nan was a mother to me, she helped raise me and she was the one person in my world who loved me fiercely on my good and my worst days. She showed me what unconditional love is, she consistantly had courage and grace in the face of uncertainty and was a beautiful faith -filled praying grandma who you knew, always had your back. Her example taught me a lot.

As you can imagine, it’s been tough to loose someone so close to your heart.. the first 6 months were pretty tough, but I have come up for air, the sun is shining again and the waves have settled.

My heart is with you if you are grieving a loved one. It is a tough journey.

For some time I have wanted to say thank you to so many in Yass.

The Yass hospital staff and ambos who cared for Nan were amazing, she constantly said how good they were to her.
Strangers on the street who showed care and support- literally every person I encountered in those early days were so loving and empathetic.

All of my clients were so kind and understanding, supporting me and my small business- I am so blessed to have had you in my world at that time, to keep my business running when I felt like I was drowning, showing so much empathy, sharing your own stories. You know who you are. You are amazing!
Yass Roos and Yass Magpies- thank you for your condolence messages and beautiful flowers.

And, I really want to say thank you and sorry to all the people who were so full of grace when I didn’t answer a message, a phone call, voice message or understood when I took extra time to get my paperwork done. Not one person has been angry with me, for this I am truly grateful.

The people of Yass have been wonderful and I will never forget your kindness in my time of need.

Hello friends,

Just letting you know that I have only a few appointments available over the next few weeks as my beautiful Nan has entered palliative care over the last few days.

My apologies that I’ve been hard to reach and probably haven’t replied to many of your calls.

I’ve been so blessed to have such a wonderful Grandmother who truly taught me the meaning of unconditional love. I will be forever grateful 💗

I just want to apologise to everyone who has left voicemails and hasn’t had a return call.
I had an issue with my voicemail up until mid last week and there was no record of them until the issue was fixed. I’m so sorry!

2025. The new year can bring with it so much hope and expectation, new dreams and goals.

But who else needed a holiday after their holiday?… was it just me?

There is a mental health crisis in this country and as a health care provider, I’ve decided to help tackle it in my own little way.

I know there is a cost of living crisis. Times are tough for many families right now.

I know how long it takes to get in to see a specialist, if you can even afford to see one.

Massage and other natural therapies are seen as a luxury, because of cost, when ultimately they can be hugely beneficial for both body and mind.

With all this in mind, I have decided to offer a ‘Wellness Journey’ package.
The package consists of an initial consultation, 5x 60 minute relaxation massages over a 3 month period and written referrals if needed.

If you believe you will benefit from this package please contact me. I am willing to reduce the price if you would otherwise not be able to afford such treatments.

For example- if you are in a tough spot financially, feeling stressed and know that massage will be of benefit to you but know you couldn’t possibly pay the full price with your budget- don’t put off your health needs any longer, I’m happy to come to an arrangement that suits your situation.

Why would I offer this?
Because I’m walking this same journey. Life is tough. I haven’t worked in the health sector for most of my adult life just to make money.
I care. I want you to come through this challenge with some support, some encouragement and to be feeling well, resilient and able to work on the things you need to, without always feeling overwhelmed.

Get in contact. It will all be private. I’ll even make you a cup of tea if you need one 😉

Good news! The mountain of peanut foam rollers has arrived.

You may have guessed, one of my love languages is gift giving and the older I get the more I realise it truly is better to give than to receive…. My hubby tells people… just take it, she loves to give!

Well this gift is one that keeps on giving-

Working through overworked muscles, such as the Erector Spinae, Rhomboids, Lats and Trapezius muscles, not to mention the many other deeper muscles , the roller helps to remove tension, loosen tight fascia, improve circulation, hopefully helping to remove muscle waste and avoid nasty knots that cause referral pain and surrounding muscles to have to compensate and also be overworked- it truly will be in your hands to be proactive with your back tension.

This little beauty can also travel with you, as all you need is a wall to lean on!
