Alignment isn’t about speed. It’s about direction.

The world will constantly pull at your nervous system and tell you to hurry, do more, prove more, chase more.

But your soul asks for something different.
To slow down enough to hear what is truly meant for you.
To move from inner truth instead of outer pressure.

Being out of alignment can look like:
• forcing what isn’t flowing
• saying yes when your body says no
• anxiety, confusion, overthinking
• chasing validation instead of peace
• being busy… but not fulfilled
• constantly doing, yet feeling disconnected

You can be moving fast and still be going nowhere that nourishes you.

Real alignment feels different.
There is steadiness in it.
There is clarity.
There is peace in your body.
There is trust in the timing of your life.

Alignment is when your mind, body and heart are walking in the same direction.

I use many tools to hear the voice of my heart, because the heart is my compass. It holds my deepest values, desires and truth. I quiet the noise of the world so I can remember… the life I once dreamed of is already here, now.

Not someday.
Now.

The question is: can you slow down enough to feel it?

Im sharing the signs of living in a survival mode. While sitting under my clean and dry laundry… because it makes me relaxed 🤷🏼‍♀️

The hardest think for me to see in women is how harsh that are towards themselves. How terrible they feel about themselves, constantly criticizing themselves 😕
It doesn’t have to be this way! It’s your nervous system holding you hostage!
Here are 10 signs that you’re living from the survival mode:

1. Constant anxiety or hypervigilance – always scanning for danger, worst-case scenarios, or what could go wrong.
2. Difficulty relaxing – even during rest, the body feels tense or the mind keeps racing.
3. Feeling always “busy” – productivity becomes a coping mechanism because slowing down feels unsafe.
4. People-pleasing – prioritising others’ needs to avoid conflict, rejection, or abandonment.
5. Emotional numbness – struggling to feel joy, excitement, or deep connection.
6. Overreacting to small stressors – minor inconveniences feel overwhelming because the nervous system is already overloaded.
7. Need for control – trying to control outcomes, people, or routines to feel safe.
8. Chronic fatigue – survival mode drains energy, even if the person appears functional.
9. Difficulty trusting others – expecting betrayal, disappointment, or danger in relationships.
10. Living in urgency – feeling behind, rushing, unable to be present, as if life is one endless emergency.

Your nervous system isn’t designed to regulate in isolation. It is wired for connection.

Safety is not just something you think, it’s something your body feels in the presence of others.

Soft eye contact. Gentle voices. Shared breath. Being witnessed without needing to perform.

This is what signals to your body:
✨ you can exhale now
✨ you are held
✨ you don’t have to do it all alone

And this is exactly what we create inside the circle.

A space where you don’t have to be productive.
A space where you don’t have to be “the strong one.”
A space where your body can slowly unwind… in ritual, in presence, in connection.

Because ritual teaches the body to feel safe again.

It’s how we return to ourselves.

If you’ve been feeling tired in a way that rest hasn’t touched, this is your invitation. 🥰

Come sit with us.
Come be held.
Come remember what it feels like to truly rest.

One of the most powerful and natural ways to release stress and tension from the body is shaking.

Shaking is not random. It is biological wisdom. It is how the nervous system discharges survival energy after stress, fear, shock, or overwhelm.

In nature, animals instinctively shake after escaping a predator. They run, survive, then tremble. This helps complete the stress cycle and return the body to regulation.

I saw this with my own dog after she was attacked by another dog. The next day, she shook for a few hours. It was as if her body knew exactly what to do to release the traumatic charge. A few hours later, she was calmer, softer, back to herself.

Humans have this same built-in mechanism.
You may notice trembling hands after reading a stressful work email. A racing heart after a near miss on the highway. Restlessness after conflict. A buzzing feeling in your body after a hard day.

That is often trapped activation asking to move.

But many people override it.
They stay seated.
They tense more.
They scroll.
They suppress.

So the stress doesn’t complete, it accumulates.

Over time this can feel like:
• chronic tension
• anxiety
• jaw clenching
• shallow breathing
• feeling “wired but tired”
• inability to relax

This is why movement matters so much!!

When you shake, dance, bounce, jump, or move freely, you give the body permission to discharge stored stress and come back into balance.

Put music on in your kitchen. Shake your arms. Loosen your jaw. Bounce your knees. Dance wildly. Let your body lead.

Sometimes healing looks less like talking and more like moving what words cannot reach.

Maybe that’s why a rave can feel therapeutic 💃🏻💃🏼
Your body finally gets to do what it has wanted to do all week: release.

📌Follow along for more nervous system-led transformations.
When your nervous system feels safe, everything reorganises.
Your attention stabilises.
You can stay with one thought instead of being pulled in ten directions.

Your decision making becomes simpler. Because your system is no longer filtering everything through urgency.

You start to notice what is actually happening, instead of what might go wrong.
That shift alone changes how you relate to your day, your relationships, and yourself.

Regulation also changes your TOLERANCE.
💥You can stay present in conversations.
💥You recover faster from stress.
💥You need less control to feel okay.

This happens because different parts of the brain begin to work together again, instead of competing for survival.

Clarity, steadiness, and presence are not things you build from scratch. They emerge when the system is no longer overloaded.

This is why pushing harder often backfires. It adds more pressure to a system that is already trying to cope.

Creating conditions for safety is not passive. It is precise work.

And from that state, change does not need to be forced. It becomes available! Also for YOU 💚

📌Follow along for more nervous system-led Transformations.
Your nervous system is constantly scanning for patterns like ocean waves.
When it finds something rhythmic and safe, it begins to entrain, meaning your internal state starts syncing with what you hear.

Your breath slows.
Your heart rate softens.
Muscles release without you forcing them to.

This is how the body remembers safety.

The ocean works in a similar way to slow, conscious breathing, but without effort.
It gently guides your system out of survival mode and into regulation.

And here’s what’s happening beneath the surface:

• The rhythmic sound stimulates your parasympathetic nervous system (your “rest and restore” state)
• It reduces cortisol and quiets the stress response
• It gives your mind a predictable pattern, which reduces the need to stay hyper-alert
• It creates a sense of vastness — reminding your body it doesn’t have to hold everything so tightly

For many people, it also brings a feeling of being held.

Not by a person — but by something bigger.

That’s why sitting by the ocean can feel emotional.
Why your body exhales in a way it didn’t even know it needed.

You’re not “just relaxing.”

You’re returning to a more regulated version of yourself.

And even if you don’t live near the sea your nervous system still responds to sound.

Close your eyes.
Listen to waves.
Let the rhythm meet you where you are.
