Day 7

It’s been an amazing couple of days seeing clearly what life I want and how I can get there.

With the boost of energy and enthusiasm, I’ve been sitting at the computer writing, putting together offerings that freely flow through me.

Depression does not always announce itself as despair.
Often, it arrives as a quieter conclusion: I do not matter.

When someone reaches this place, the instinctive advice to “focus on yourself” can unintentionally deepen the sense of isolation. The mind turns inward, narratives tighten, and meaning becomes increasingly abstract.

There is growing evidence, both psychological and neurological, that carefully chosen acts of helping others can interrupt this pattern. Not by dismissing personal pain, and not by moral obligation, but by restoring context, agency, and observable value.

Helping someone in greater difficulty does not invalidate one’s own suffering. It reframes it. It shifts attention from rumination to engagement and provides tangible proof that presence still has impact. For individuals who feel useless, this matters more than reassurance or affirmation.

This is not about self-sacrifice, saviour behaviour, or neglecting boundaries. Helping is beneficial only when it is voluntary, proportionate, and grounded in realism. Small, contained actions are often enough.

Mood does not always improve first.
Sometimes meaning comes before relief.

If it resonates, you are not alone.
And if it helps you understand yourself or someone close to you a little better, then it has served its purpose.💚

Day 5

And here it is ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
Day 5 of the aloe cleanse C9.

The ENERGY 🔥🔥🔥🔥 in my belly is skyrocketing today!
My creativity is flowing like a river in flood 🌊

From early morning I’ve been writing, recording, organising, planning, talking and moving like crazy 🔥

I love this state 🔥 so much energy, enthusiasm and a deep willingness to create, build and give!

This is exactly why I do C9.
When we “cleanse” our bodies and minds, we feel alive, clear, switched on and inspired. Similar to Vision Quest effect…

Day 4

I was woken up by my dog wanting to go outside.
If it wasn’t for her, I probably would’ve stayed in bed for another hour…

But since I was already up, I took it as an opportunity to sit in the garden (I love summer!) connecting with my heart.

I looked around and counted my blessings - my home, my dog, the pool, the trees, flowers, bees above my head, and birdsong.

No… I did not count the mossies biting my leg as a blessing 😂

And then a huge, loud plane flew over. Instead of being annoyed and seeing it as an interruption to my peace, I smiled, because it reminded me of the Dubai flight I take when I’m coming home from Europe (also home).

Gratitude really changes the way we see everything.
