When most people think of a "Birth Plan", they think of a rigid list of "must-haves". But as a doula, I like to look at it differently.

A birth plan isn't about controlling the uncontrollable - it's about communication. It's your chance to:

✨Explore your options before the "heat of the moment".

✨Ensure your birth team is on the same page as you.

✨Feel empowered and informed, no matter which direction your labour takes.

Whether you're dreaming of a home water birth or planning a scheduled C-section, having your preferences written down helps you stay centered and heard. 🕊️
