Zing Support Services is expanding in Mackay

After a year of strong growth across Central Queensland, we’re refocusing on what matters most, reliable, creative, and genuinely human support for our Mackay community.

We’re now taking on a small number of new participants, including both NDIS and aged care clients, who value:

Consistency and continuity with staff

Flexible, meaningful support tailored to their goals

A provider who listens, acts, and follows through

We’re not the biggest provider, and we don’t want to be.

Today's IWD, we celebrate the theme "Accelerating Action" and the women who inspire it!

The women who have inspired me include my grandmother, who, after losing my grandfather at just 51, took action to maintain her independence—learning to drive and building the home she and my grandfather had dreamt of. She was a powerhouse of a woman, and I'll always be grateful for her support and influence.

Our daughters, who, despite their challenges, continue to be unapologetically themselves—stubborn, driven, compassionate, and kind. They inspire me every day.

I also want to acknowledge the men who are our allies—because true change happens when we all stand together.

💙 My father, who never let me feel less than my brothers and always encouraged me to push boundaries.
💙 My husband and partner in crime, who follows and supports my often wild whims unwaveringly.
💙 Our beautiful sons, who are growing up to be champions of women and equality themselves.
