A current event in our community of Rockhampton is abhorrent, tragic and an atrocity for all of us.
There is no need to mention what this is because it is likely that you will know what I am talking about.
An Act like this against a woman, a sister, is bound to trigger many of us in the community.
Many of us have tragically experienced some level of S/A or D/V and even if we haven't our hearts bleed for our sister.
Many of us may now feel fear in leaving the house, going for a walk/run or going about our normal activities.
Be assured that these reactions are a normal reaction in this abnormal and abhorrent situation.
You are not Alone
I have listed a number of services that are available to you to call and speak to if you are feeling these emotions or have been triggered with the News, the Social Media exposure.
