Teenagers in our experience tend to open up a bit more when not confined to four walls and a desk.

Yes confidentiality is still maintained

How much confidentiality is there in a waiting room full of clients waiting to see their psychologist?

The confidentiality on the beach or in the bush I believe puts our clients more at ease.

Our teenage clients keep wanting follow up appointments 🤔 without their parents having to bribe or convince them to come along.

I guess that is favourable.

Yes we can still do assessments.

Yes we still provide quality care with measurable outcomes.

Today's rating by Jaxon was a 10/10

Your Way Psychology has been working with this Young Fellow on the Goldie for a long time now.

An hour here and an hour there on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Today was a absolutely huge day for Jaxon.

Bugs, Sand, Water, heat, sun and even some unpredictability.

Jaxon was offered the opportunity to stop and pull the pin at any time but No

He just kept engaging and pushing his own boundaries every step of the way.

His engagement and banter and conversation with Benjamyn Willson was so beautiful to see.

We are so damn proud of you today Jax

What an absolute blast of a day

I am so grateful that Your Way Psychology has the connection with young people 🙏

I am also grateful for the relationship that has been built over time with this Young person.

Fifteen minutes of conversation was about the limit when I would home visit. Other distractions such as technology etc would invariably get in the way.

Now when we do walk n talk or sit and chat in Nature the conversation flows.

For this opportunity I am grateful 🙏

Sometimes clients don't feel like "walking and talking."

Sometimes there is some paperwork or theory to go through.

Whatever is needed can be done under a tree 🌳 or in the shade surrounded by the birds, other creatures and animals.

I can't think of a better way to deliver Therapy can you?
