Mother’s Day can hold so many different emotions all at once.
For some, it’s breakfast in bed, cuddles and celebration.
For others, it’s longing, grief, heartbreak, healing… or quietly wondering if this day will ever feel easy.
Today I’m thinking of the mums,
the stepmums, the women still waiting,
the women who mother everyone around them, the daughters missing their mums, and the women learning how to keep going without theirs.
There is no “right way” to feel today.
But one thing I know for sure…
love is not only measured by biology.
It’s measured in presence.
In nurturing.
In the way someone makes others feel safe, seen and deeply cared for.
So wherever this day finds you…
I hope you move gently with yourself.
I hope you know your story matters.
And I hope you feel wrapped in love today in whatever form you need most 🤍
