“In the Dreaming, before time walked forward, stories were shaped by intention, and every movement, every breath, every creation
began with a Cause.
The Ancestors taught that a person is a walking story,
woven through by the Dreamtime that birthed them.
But when a moment of pain, shock, or sorrow enters the spirit
and is not released back to the Dreaming,
it can become a knot in the songline of the soul.
Instead of drifting away like smoke, the feeling curls inward.
It hardens. It becomes a small living crystal of memory, a seed holding the echo of the original moment.
In the Dreaming, all things are alive rock, tree, river, wind, memory.
And all alive things call to their own kind. So that crystal, that trapped story, sings out through the unseen worlds and calls back to you moments and people that match the first wound.
This is how the cycle repeats the same dream, the same test, the same feeling, walking beside you in different skins.
Traditional Aboriginal healers have always known this.
They listen not only to the body, but to the Dreaming speaking through it. They understand that until the original Cause is changed, the story remains caught in its loop, like a spirit wandering the same path under the same moon. But in the Dreaming, creation is never fixed. Tracks can be rewritten.
Stories can be sung anew. And this is the powerful truth the Ancestors left us: You are a creator-being. Through your thoughts, your words, your deeds, you shape the Dreaming of your own life.
When the Cause is found and returned to balance, the old dream dissolves. A new story rises — one you choose, one you place upon your own songline. Some stories were born in this lifetime.
Some travel from your ancestors’ spirits.
Some come from other Dreaming you have walked before.
Time in the Dreamtime is not linear it circles, spirals, folds back on itself.
What has been may come again, until the lesson is understood
and the spirit chooses a new direction. The Dreaming does not rush you. The Universe does not push.
Your old people wait with patience, knowing that every being finds their moment of awakening.
But the Law of Lore remains only the creator can change the creation. Only you can reshape the dream you are living.
And what a powerful knowing that is to stand in your own spirit again, to no longer be pulled by old energies or other people’s shadows, to walk freely in the Dreaming as it responds to your Intent.
And Intent is the first Law of Lore.
