Hi everyone, I thought I’d share just a little more about me to start the year, especially for those who are new here 🤍

I’ve been lucky enough to support individuals with Developmental delay, Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Vision Impairment, Williams Syndrome, Epilepsy, and those who are non-verbal. I hold my Diploma in community services, along with a range of short education courses and am always open to learning more.

I’m passionate about working alongside other disability supports within the community because I truly believe the best outcomes happen when we collaborate. I’m willing to try anything, and no topic is ever off limits with me…open, honest conversations matter.

As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m also so excited to be starting a Bachelor’s degree next month to work towards becoming an Occupational Therapist, continuing to grow, learn, and deepen my skills so I can keep providing the best support possible!

So grateful to be doing this work and to have you here following the journey✨🫶

If you’re trying to get work as an independent support worker, here’s the honest truth, you can’t just drop a random post in a Facebook group and hope for the best.

You’re offering a service, and like any service, people need to feel confident, safe, and reassured before they reach out. That means showing who you are, what you offer, your experience, and why you’re trustworthy.

Creating a digital presence changed everything for me. It allowed me to present professionally, build credibility, and show consistency, not just say it 💛✨
