A Little Progress Update 🐾

Things are steadily moving forward here at Coastal Canine Hydrotherapy, and we’re getting closer to welcoming our first dogs through the doors.

Our hydrotherapy unit is currently in transit and expected to arrive within the next couple of weeks. Behind the scenes, we’ve also had electricians on site over the past few days, working on connecting power and preparing the space so everything is ready to go once the unit arrives.

While we’re finalising these last steps, we’ve opened up a limited number of pre-opening specials for those who would like to secure sessions ahead of time. These offers are designed to give dogs early access to hydrotherapy at a reduced rate before we officially open.

Coastal Canine Hydrotherapy is about to open its doors in Yeppoon, and we can’t wait to welcome dogs of all ages and sizes. Our goal is to provide a gentle, supportive environment where dogs can move freely, recover from injury, and build strength safely, through gentle water-based therapy.

Hydrotherapy is a form of exercise performed in water, designed to reduce strain on joints while giving dogs the chance to move, stretch, and strengthen muscles in a controlled, supportive way.

It can help in a range of different situations, including:
- Dogs recovering from surgery or injury
- Dogs needing extra support with joints & mobility
- Dogs who need low-impact exercise to stay active
- Dogs with chronic conditions such as arthritis or hip dysplasia
