In an effort to keep up-to-date on industry trends and innovation, we sent Casey, Amanda, and Courtney to the annual ODMA (Optical Distributors & Manufacturers Association) Trade Fair in Sydney.
ODMA Fair showcases the latest offerings for the optical industry in lenses, frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, accessories, business services, accessories, business services, equipment, and so much more.
The staff gave positive feedback about their experience:
"Attending ODMA Fair 2025 at Sydney’s International Convention Centre was an inspiring and enriching experience. The event showcased cutting-edge advancements in eyewear and optical technology, we experienced the new EssilorLuxottica's Nuance Audio hearing glasses and the AI virtual reality perfect fit technology at Stepper.
We also met with many frame reps to ensure we have the latest glasses designs and styles in store for our patients to try on.
The educational sessions were particularly beneficial, offering insights into practice management and patient care. Highlights included a session with a hands-on frame repair workshop by Optical Dispensers Australia provided practical skills for everyday use."
