It's always heart warming to see a broody hen sit faithfully on eggs day after day and then see the chicks emerge. Amazing!

This is Sweet Pea our newest cow to milk after the birth of her calf. Even though she hasn't been milked for well over a year, she remembered the routine making it easier for us. Her three lamb friends are eager to eat any of the left overs. Once we have finished milking in the morning she spends the rest of the day with her calf who also gets plenty of milk!

We are down at this morning again. We have shifted spots a little bit but don't worry we're still here. Frozen whole chooks, Maryland's, wings, drumsticks and more...

Plus our delicious farm fresh pasture raised chicken eggs. We have a special spring sale on at the moment, 2 dozen /$25.

What a busy Monday we had, despite the 36 degrees. Early in the morning we joyfully discovered 3 new calves born during the night. After an early breakfast we launched into our garlic harvesting project. We tried to create our own shade with our gazebos. Always plenty to do!

Animal Interaction Experience @ Gracemere Farmstead located between Lismore and Casino. Four weekly sessions Sat 4pm to 6pm - Sat 15, 22, 29 and Sat 6 Dec. Ages 7 and up. We just got back from a few days away on a family vacation at Daydream Island. Such a lovely place with amazing scenery. This morning I was blown away with the amazing scenery we have on our farm right here at home. Nice to go away for a break but also great to be back home. There was even a new calf to welcome us. Our farm sitters did an amazing job.

It's a boy!! After a long wait we have a new baby donkey. We have named him Jerry. Very cute!

Another project completed! Veggie garden covers for our wicking bed gardens. Great protection from the free ranging chickens and other hungry creatures.

It's going to be a beautiful day tomorrow down at Yamba Farmers & Producers Market and I will be there! Plenty of whole chickens and pieces as well as a special on our delicious pasture raised eggs. See you tomorrow at the 7-11am.
