Early Intervention Program
Brighter Future’s early intervention program is a highly structured approach to teaching which is carefully designed and follows specific patterns of instruction. It is based on well-studied principles of human learning and designed primarily for young children ranging from one to four years of age who’s suspected or diagnosed with autism spectrum, language delay and/or who present significant behavioral challenges.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our little ones.
What does the Program consist of?
The program operates from 8:00 AM – 12:30 P.M from Mondays Thru Fridays for the children. We will work on teaching new language skills which increase communication skills, reduce problematic behavior, increase socialization skills, and academic skills.
In addition, each of our staff members goes through intensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis that will help each child learn better.
What will we do for you?
We will assess your child with assessments that cover multiple skill areas including language and communication, socialization, academic, and several other areas. We will provide you with the findings of this assessment and create an individual treatment plan that fits your individual child. All our programs are individualized for each specific child.
Is my child a candidate?
The program year term program is available for children ages 1 to 4 years old with an autism spectrum disorder, Language delay, or behavioral concerns. Our programs are created for the benefit of children and their families. Our team will discuss placement with each family and determine if placement within our program will be beneficial to your child. We approach each child's education with the individual attention that it needs and deserves.
How much therapy does my child need?
The length of a child's program is dependent upon the individual child.
Beginning a child's Program?
Programs are individualized and group based on the child’s skill level. Baseline data is taken from the VB-MAPP, direct observation, past assessments, and input from parents. All this information is gathered to create an Individual Treatment Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan, if necessary for each child. In addition, a data book is created for each child that tracks their progress during our program. Parental input is essential to develop and maintain a successful program. Input from parents is always welcome and we maintain the understanding that "A parent will always know their child better than anyone else."
What are Parents Responsible for?
Each parent is responsible for bringing and picking up their child on time. In addition, each child will need to bring their own snack, due to any special dietary conditions or allergies. If a child is not fully potty trained, please bring the necessary materials needed and an extra set of clothes.
